If you need 'much more gems' Supercell have kindly made this possible in the shop in game.
Try to remember that if they don't make money there will be no game and therefore gems won't matter anymore, put your hand in your pocket and help Supercell keep going, if there is no money in your pocket ask your parents to help them out.
Maaan... They added a new village with obstacles spawning so, yea SC increased obstacle spawn rate.

Supercell has 2 very good options for gems, one is the gem mine you can build, the second is a gem shop, for as low as $1.39 Canadian you can get 80 of them
