I know doing truck orders is a good way to gain a lot of xp, but I'm just wondering if there are other things you guys do to gain a lot of xp. I'm a med student so on the days that I have classes I don't always get to check my farm as much as I would want to.
Any tips would be appreciated!

What's a easy way to get Xp points. Any tricks? I'm trying to level up quickly
Fill high-star truck orders over high-coin orders when leveling up and do the opposite when money gets low. Every level takes more points than the last - it just took me forever to go from 49 to 50. Something like 158k. Gulp!
Sure you want to? Leveling too quickly puts you in the "boat wants something I can't afford to buy the machine for yet" category.
Other than making good choices with truck orders (tear down ones that give low XP and save resources for higher XP), look for crates to fill, bushes/trees to revive, etc.. not much else to do than play 24/7 and harvest wheat till your eyeballs fall out.
I keep every machine going, (which it will pay off by using diamonds to add slots to each), constant harvesting, make bread, feed, and sell those like crazy, I help with every boat I can, and am particular about the truck orders, I choose the ones who pay large XPs and scrap the ones with bigger coin payouts, as coins will come. I leveled up very quickly, mastered machines, which also gives you extra bonus XP for TOs. I make premium items to sell, not the grunt stuff except bread. So I get bigger XPs for those items as well,

For me, filling boat orders seems to generate XP the fastest. It helps to have lots of friends, so that the help flags will pop up in your friends bar. That beats shopping for boats.
If you are going to be away a lot, try to match your production time to your expected length of absence. Ideally, you would load up each queue with a combination of items that will finish up right about the time that you come back to the game. Longer (expanded) queues are helpful for this, because you can put in lots of quick items rather than a few slow items. The quick items produce more XP per hour than do the slow items.
Also try to match your crops to your expected length of absence. That way you get the most possible XP per harvest. Grow the fast things only when you are actively playing.
Pets generate XP as well.
