My list of nearly impossible to find items, what's yours?

i feel your pain. I have not help anybody from DD in awhile to prevent this kind of stalking, and yet i still have 2 unexplained person continuing to come by and buy shamelessly. It really confuses me, esp i have a neighbour who interchange farms and levels on 1 GC. Will the "real mrs evans" please stand up?

Could it be the case for you? If they are on your friend list, but they have another device of diff farm name avatar etc, if they logged onto their "shadow" farm you wouldnt know either? Am i confusing you?

well...i hadn't seen my stalker all day so was hoping that today was the day i had fallen off his "last helpers" list. I took the chance and put some buttered popcorn up for you...some potato bread...and some cookies and pancakes. I even went out and bought you some milk. No sooner had I done that than stalker appears and...well...you can see in my stall what happened. I'm leaving his picture there for all to see. The only slot he didn't take was a bacon & egg which had been there from yesterday which someone else eventually purchased a bit later. My barn is filling up and i am slowing down production.


I am being silly about it really. I'm happy to sell the stuff to whoever wants it and he is obviously happy to buy it. But i am so annoyed by him that i will continue to be silly about it and not put a thing in my stall.:rolleyes:

I understand what you are saying. I doubt he is in my neighbours list though. I think i helped him from the leaderboard when i was going for 5000 leaderboard points during the boat event recently. I usually try to help as many boats as i can and never hesitated before this fellow to help out even strangers. What i did notice though, when i had access to his farm (he watered some trees for me when he stopped by) was that he doesn't ask for help much, sends boats away empty or fills them himself. So i may be on his last helpers list for a looooooooooooong time to come. Sigh :(

oh, i know that kind.... one of the person that is continuously buying has been hanging around for 5 days now... i dont really know what to make of that... i stopped filling whole stand like my usual and just be a troll and put an item or two... wish i can delete myself off that helper list. Good luck on getting rid of yours.

Things i just can never find:

sugar, cream, butter and cheese (understandably). I do have some very low level players who do put these items out on occasion, thankfully.

baked potato
Pizza
coffee kiosk products
Potato bread - i doubt i have ever seen that in stalls
ice cream (very rarely)
lasagna
white sweaters- when i need them i can never find enough. So i have started making my own and selling the surplus. :)
fish products

lobster or tomato soup. I have so many tomato soup that i sell the surplus in my stall almost every day. Why are there none in other people's stalls? I have not yet unlocked fish soup and i see so many fish soup in stalls. Is it that much easier to make fish soup than tomato soup?

Well the HayDay gods have blessed me with planks, but in doing so have cursed me to have very few tape!

I rarely see dairy and sugar, so I try to stock up ready for a boat but unfortunately don't have room in the barn to help out my friends, except for the odd cheese as only a few are needed for a crate. The same for sugar.

Other items I rarely see is jam and anything from the candy machine.


I've noticed over the months there has been less expansion items for sale, both quantity and number in a sale. Anyone else notice this?

I have, I used to find tons of expansion items in the DD but not much lately.

I thought your stall hadn't been its usual well stocked self mzmflo...now i see why.

I tell you what i struggled to find today was...carrots. I was needing them for my boat and was growing them but thought I would buy a few just to get a crate filled while waiting...but nope...couldnt find any :-(

This is something that was discussed at length a while back...chunks of people all getting boats requiring the same items all at the same time.

I will regularly have 8-17 neighbors asking for help at any given time and often even more. Without fail, the majority all need the same item. So if I have 17 in need of crates filled, 12 of them will need butter, and the remaining 5 will need various other items.

It's almost always sugars and dairy but, sometimes, it's another item that they all need at the same time, such as fish pie or apple jam.

The only thing we could think of as the reason for this, when it was being discussed, is that servers must be on some time cycle, where all boats generated from that server during a, say 15 minute period, include butter crates. The next 15 minute period will have that server spitting out boats needing jam, blue sweaters, etc. Can't prove a thing, but that's what we got to that made the most sense.

With so many neighbors needing the same thing as we do as well as, who knows how many, non-neighbors out there needing the same thing, it's no wonder it can't be found in the DD. Even if it was listed in the DD or included in a shop that advertised another item, it's been long gone by the time we get there.

I have 4 of those where the farms switch back and forth from, say level 57 to level 16. They usually switch but, sometimes, I'll have both on my friends tab at the same time for a few days before the lower level poofs out only to show up again later. I never know if it's a feeder farm, a second farm just for the fun of it, or their high level farm accidentally got replaced and then recovered. :confused:

I really can't say what items are on my "hard to find in the DD list" as I usually produce most items myself. I used to have really good luck and found all sorts of goodies, when I did need (no matter what the item), even when everyone else couldn't, and even posted so on a few complaint threads. Now.......sigh.......I can't find hardly a blessed thing...ever. Not even carrots like Cazzabee. Carrots! Since when can't we find carrots? I'm make a lot of feed so I'm always buying carrots as I can never seem to grow enough and now I can't hardly find them.

At first, when they decreased the refresh time, lowered the free ad wait to 15 minutes, and increased the newspaper pages for iPhones, I was ok...not as much to find but still finding enough. Now, I don't know what changed but I can't find BEMs if my life depended on it. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven yesterday when I found a single tape behind an egg ad when trying to fill an egg crates.

So today i find 10 planks and 10 tapes right after each other but do you think I can find anyone selling a potato LOL
