I know that if your barn is full you can let products sit around your machines and even still make new products.
But I wondered about something today.
What if your Barn is full and you go to harvest one of your crops and a BEM pops up, where does it go?
Or does the game know that barn is full so you won't get any expansion materials?
They just won't pop up if you don't have room when you harvest. The game will "remember" that you've earned an item, and the next time you have room in your barn and harvest you will get one. But, the game does not reset the counter to determine your next item drop until you get one. So you cant just keep harvesting and harvesting and expect to get several items in a row.Quote:

I've noticed that I get the expansion items that dropped later after I made some room - I got several items, not simply the last one. Maybe that was because it was one of multiple kinds of items?
I *think* this is how it works: Based on your level, it takes a certain number of "things" (harvested wheat, milk, eggs) to trigger an item drop. There is a different trigger number for each thing you can do in the game. So for example it takes me 71 wheat to get an item. But it might take a different number of eggs to get an item. I cannot harvest 70 wheat, and then get 1 egg and get the item.Quote:

Again, that's my understanding of how it works based on my own play. I haven't had the patience to check this out and test it formally.
My barn is full,my white sugar already set on the floor and machine keep run,I have to sell couple thing to make at least 5 room,so I won't miss some tools which sold in newspaper .
Ok, I'll need to take a photo of mine and post it when I get it up again. My barn is regularly full. I still get any item that pops up randomly. I've had as many as 20 items OVER my barns max before. Should have taken a photo.
Same is true for fishing. Even if my barn is full I can still go fishing and the fish will go into my barn anyway.
Wheel of Fortune too. Even if my barn is full I still get the item I won from Wheel of fortune.
The big downside to overfilling your barn is that you have to sell off or use that much more to be able to pick up an item you need.
But trust me, you'll still get your pop up items.
Ok, here is a photo of my barn. Didn't take long at all to overfill it. I'm always on the verge anyway. I filled my barn, then went and got my prize from Wheel of Fortune, harvested my wheat and got a popup, found a treasure box, and ordered the special package using gift cards and like magic I'm well over the max limit. But the barn too everything no problem.

I have NOT noticed that items stop popping out of the fields when I have a full barn. It seems to me that they keep coming, and my barn just gets over-full. That is, when I look at the capacity meter, it will say 502/500 (for example). I play with a barn very near to full capacity all of the time, so that I can more easily store items on the production machines instead of keeping them in the barn. I keep lots of chicken food on hand to take up the space, and if I need more space in the barn, I just sell it.
