I think it's a bit dumb to not have flags for all nations. For example the Irish Flag, It represents my heritage but there's no site of it in decorations. Adding other national flags would be a small tweak to the game that people wouldn't care about, unless it's people like me. So please, and thank you for reading.
I'm thinking it might have been a mistake to have any national flags in the first place. Now, if you include the flag for each of the hundred plus nations in the world, plus any other districts that would desire their flag to be shown, it would majorly clutter up a lot of bases. A better solution would have been to allow one or two flags per base, but make them customizable. Some have suggested to remove national flags altogether, but that would naturally upset a lot of people who have purchased them.
Its already ruled out by SC that they wont add any more flags.
