World Map, Base Defenders, Repair Ward, and Unit & Defense Tower Customization.
I would like to Suggest this Major Updates to make the game more Interesting and Interactive:
(1) First is by introducing the concept of “World Map”. A type of map just like you see in the “War Map”, instead of searching in the “Multiplayer” for enemy bases for the purpose of resource or trophy looting, in the world map you can see 4 types of base:
A. Your base (in a blue background color)
B. Your enemy bases (in a red background color)
C. Your friends and clanmates bases (in a green background color) and,
D. AI (artificial intelligence) bases (in a yellow background color) - for which it is a common base with different levels and resource capacity just like any other bases, which you can attack for resource looting, an alternative for looting in the enemy bases. A player can attack any AI bases regardless of their level. Lower level AI bases contains lower resources and also higher level AI bases contains higher resources. For instance, a level 10 AI base have a resource capacity of 30,000 gold and elixir and a level 80 AI base contains 500,000 gold & elixir and 5000 dark elixir. Each AI bases have also different types of defense and base defenders depending on their level. Note that attacking AI base will not earn you a trophy but attacking another player base will do, whether it is your enemy or friends/clanmates bases. Moreover, attacking AI bases will not lessen the time of your shield protection.
You can attack AI bases, enemy, and friends/clanmates bases by deploying your platoon/squad of units outside your base and send them beside your target base for which you can “Scout only or Attack it”. You can send many squads and surround the target base as possible depending on the “footprints/tiles design of the world map”. In attacking the base, you can only deploy one squad at a time inside the target base, for instance, you deployed squad # 1 consisting of 20 wizards, now that it was defeated or you choose to retreat them, you can now deploy squad # 2 consisting of 10 dragons inside the target base. The direction (east, west north, south) of the attack of a squad inside the target base depends on how you put or place that squad in the world map view, beside his/her outside base. You can attack online and offline players however, in attacking online players, there will be a 10 seconds countdown sequence to notify or alert you that the player is online and the defending player that someone is attacking him/her. In a successful attack, the defending player will have a shield that can last up to 24 hours depending on the degree of base damage. A 50%+ base damage will have a shield of 8 hours, 75%+ damage will have a shield of 16 hours, and a 100% damage will have a 24 hours shield. The shield of a player base is visible in the world map, if you see player base with a balloon like shield, it means that the base was successfully attacked by another player, but you will not able to see how much longer the shield will be vanish. If you see a player base with a shield and has a destroyed or ruined base, it means the player was attacked with a 100% base damage but did not yet online and repair the base and if you see a ruined base with no shield, it means a player was attacked 100% and did not online and repair until the 24 hours shield has been vanish. In successfully attacking players’ bases, you will earn trophies and likewise attacking players with higher trophies will also give you a higher trophy loots. There will also be a “Level Protection” in attacking players’ bases, a 10 level gap is advisable, it means that you can only attack players’ bases 10 levels below you and above you. For instance, your base is level 50, you can only attack level 40 and above and level 60 and below. However, once you reach level 100, you can now attack not just level 90 and above but any level starting from level 100 and above likewise, level 90 and above can attack your base. In the world map, you can travel your squad/s from one place to another and attack another squad of any player regardless of their level by placing your squad/s beside their squad, and also you can see friends and clanmates (green color) or enemy (red color) squad traveling or pass by around your base and many other bases, maybe just to attack AI and other players’ base. You can only attack other player and AI bases by means of creating units like 10 balloons and putting it into a squad # 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and so forth. The capacity of units you can put in a squad depends on the levels and numbers of your army camp. After you already created a squad/s, you can now “click” on world map to go outside your base and search for the target base. After you found the target, you can already deploy your squad outside your base and send them to your target, and if your squad/s is now beside the target base, you can “scout and attack”. The maximum number of squads you can deploy on the world map is 10, to avoid congestion in the map by means of too many squads deployed outside the players’ base. You can attack a base as many times as possible for as long as its shield is not activated (if you only damage the base below 50%). Each attack has a time limit of 5 minutes. The world map is divided into several sectors to prevent congestion of players in a single map (Sectors 1 to 200 as possible). Each sectors consist of different players and clans. A player can relocate to any sector once a week but it will not leave his clan unless he choose to click leave.
(2) Second is by granting the player to have a “minimal” base defenders like the “Guard Post” in Builder Base, as related to the world map suggestion. You can place any types of available units in your base to aid you in defending your base. Once you created units and set it as your base defenders, it will automatically spawn at your base where your town hall is located. Upgrading your town hall will also increase the capacity of your base defenders. You can put your defenders in any location of your base and you can place them individually in a group or scattered position. You can set your base defenders into 3 defense mode:
A. First is Normal Mode - for which they will attack the raiding troops once the attacker hit the trigger radius of the individual base defenders and will be back at their original location once the defenders defeat the squad of raiding troops or once the attacker retreat his squad.
B. Second is Stationary Mode - for which after you place the defenders to a specific location of your base, they will stand still or remain to their location while defending.
C. Third is Aggressive Mode - for which once the attacker deploy his squad of raiding troops to any side of your base, your defenders will automatically hunt it down to destroy them.
You can activate all 3 defense mode at a time for instance, you have 15 base defenders, you place your 5 dragons in the center of your base and set it as normal mode, you also place your 5 wizards surrounding your town hall and set it in stationary mode, and lastly you set in aggressive mode your 5 valkyrie at the south and north side of your base. A player can still donate to his clanmates a pack of troops however, it is also minimal and the unit that will be donated must be first unlock by the receiver because he have now the capability to defend his base using his own units. Please take note that this will not be an “overkill” by the defending player because an attacking player can also deploy several squad consisting of many units to your base, so the game balance will be preserve.
(3) Third is creating a Repair Ward. Instead of creating another units for the next battle, it would be beneficial to the players if they just repair or heal their troops because not every unit that was deployed in a battle obtain damage or destroyed. This will maximize the time of the players in proceeding to another battle. For instance, a player deployed 10 dragons on opponent’s base and successfully destroyed it, and left only 4 dragons alive. Instead of creating another squad of 10 dragons with a training time of 30 minutes, in repairing/healing, it will approximate take 20 minutes, depending on the degree of unit damage.
(4) Fourth is by launching Unit and Defense Tower Customization. A player grants the ability to customize or make specifications on his units and defense structures by adding extra features to improve their battle performance. For instance, a player can customize his barbarian to carry a shield which will add a defense points to it, a healer that can attack anyone using lightning ball, if there is no units left to heal, and a wizard tower that throws a large iceball which deals greater splash damage and can slow the movement of ground and air units.
(5) Fifth is Enhancing basic game and battle features. These includes:
A. First, in a battle a player can’t see how many units are left behind in a battlefield while attacking. For instance, I deployed all 100 archers, I have no idea of the approximate number of archers left to attack because some are already dead, unless I have eagle eye so I can count them one by one. So, I think that the number of available units left on the battlefield must be visible to players while attacking.
B. Second is by creating an “Icon” for full screen while in a home base or in a midst of an attack or defense. While attacking an opponent, a player can choose to full screen, leaving only the bar for troops to be deploy, for the player to maximize his home, attack and defense view.
C. Third is by providing a player a detailed record/history of troops donation by his clanmates because sometimes some fellows are donating troops which does not correspond to what is requested for, maybe just to provoke or with other reasons. We can know who donated us even if we request and go offline.
D. Fourth is by granting the player to send messages to anyone. On the current gameplay, we have “mail icon” and we only received messages from Leaders and Co-leaders and also we cannot reply to them. So I suggest that we can send and receive messages to and from everyone to make the game more interactive. For instance, I found a player interesting in the global/sector and clan chat, I will tap his name and there will be an options that will pop-up such as “Profile, Visit, Invite/View Clan, Report, Mute, and lastly the added feature...Send Message”. If I chat him, automatically our conversation will be put in inbox. The mail icon on the screen (below the trophy) will now be divided into 5 sections: Attack Log, Defense Log, Donation Log, Clan Invitation, and Inbox. There will also be a safety measure, you can “delete” the message or simply “block/mute” the one who sends you the message.
E. Fifth and last, is by allowing the player to upload an avatar or profile picture and this will be visible to anyone who view your game profile.
(6) Sixth is by Enhancing or Changing the Concept of Builder Base. When I read the stickies which was written by SC Moderator that talks about the ideas that have been ruled out, one them is by “adding mini-games” which is stated that will occupy time. The Builder Base update sounds like a mini-game to me. It can also be an event base that grants new units and spells to the home village base such as:
Ent (Unit) – a giant humanoid tree (like Groot in guardians of the galaxy) that primarily targets ground defenses and then air defenses later. The ability of this unit is once his health drop down to 50%, he will throw 5 seeds to the ground and summons/grow on his side 5 ents with same stats that will fight with him, and when he dies, another 5 seeds will explode from his body and summon again another 5-like units.
Hypnosis Spell – a spell that makes opponent’s defense towers fight for you. After you drop that spell to defense structures, all affected defense tower from the spell radius will target nearby buildings (except town hall) and other defenses for a very limited time like 5 seconds.
Thank you for those who read it completely. I want to hear your opinion on these updates.
Here is the Concept of “World Map” (Note: I’m not promoting the game, the video is attached to simply elaborate the concept).<font size="4"><span style="font-family:arial;"><span style="color:#ff0000;"><strong>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvKEgupXeSI
