I was going through the boat leaderboard and found someone needing two crates of blue caps, four caps each. I had ten caps in my barn so I filled both crates. Then I checked the same farmer's shop and found six caps for sale. Bought them of course.
I just wish restocking was always this easy! :-)
I do this from time to time when I have a surplus of stuff.
I have also been known to offer the opportunity to help with my boat by actually placing the items needed to fill the crates in my road side stall at default price. :p
I've tried this on several occasions even changing my farm name to something indicating that the item in the stall is there to be put on the boat. What happened? The neighbor took the item from the shop and didn't bother with the boat. After 3 tries at this, each ending the same way I stopped trying to help my neighbors get boat points like this. I just leave the crates open for awhile. If none of my neighbors is able to help then I fill the crates myself.Quote:
