Well, if it helps, these types of strategies work well in war, and with practice I'm sure they can do well pushing just the same

I pushed to Titans at TH9 with LaLoonion before the update. 1 Lava, 28 loons and rest minions, 2 rage, 1 poison and 2 haste - CC hound and Haste.
FWIW I also did it without my Heros as i had them on constant upgrade & It's worth noting i don't think Loons are effective now.
