On one hand I'm hoping this is a wide spread issue and not just me, on the other I'm hoping this hasn't effected anyone else.
I just turned on my game and noticed my diamond count was wrong. I had just taken a photo earlier today of another farm that I had planned on posting (just hadn't yet) so I have photographic proof of my diamond count.

Anyone else notice a sudden drop in diamond count for no reason?
How do I contact Supercell? I feel like crying.
Before i sleep, i got a total of 13 diamonds, and when i woke up i found 5 diamonds when i visited my neighbor so it should be a total of 18. I was surprised to find out that i now only have 6! Is this an on-going bug? Please return my diamonds..:(
I just lost 18, 18 diamonds because accidentally tap accellerate blackberry production. If I hire Tom i just have to spend 15 diamonds. That is not fare at all.
I have just lost 6 diamonds by going and helping friends fill crates on their boats!?????
I had had all items that others wanted so stayed clear of the use additional diamonds but when I returned to my farm 6 diamonds had gone
If anything I thought you should get some rather than lose them

I have been on a streak of not losing heaps of diamonds only to suddenly lost close to 30 yesterday. Started with losing 15 and i dont even know what on. Then 3 was gone. Then 5. I was like !!! So i bought diamonds to replenish. hired tom that cost only 15 but my total diamond count after hiring him was still 6 short. It was a real what the ... day.
But i did notice i was on iphone more yesterdy cause i was out and did not brought ipad along. When you tap on the machine on the phone, the options to make stuff can cause you to fat finger so easily plus they cant go away easily cause they fill whole screen its real hard to tap it away. Imo that should scale to device. Was dumb.
I only play on my iPhone. I very rarely spend diamonds accidentally. I'm used to playing cautiously. I used to play Team Lava games (story games). They are the worst and setting up the games to steal your diamonds so you have to learn to play carefully or else lose everything.
But I wasn't even playing when all mine vanished. Even if I was playing, how on earth does one accidentally spend 182 diamonds? I can't imagine what I could have done to have lost that many at once.
I've figured out how to send them a message in the game, so will see what happens.
Good luck with that Tea, from what i have read from previous threads with people facing same issues of mysterious disappearing diamonds not through fat fingering, SC has not replaced them.
The response I have gotten from my ticket was just "currently being reviewed".
This happens to be an ongoing problem with me also. I am fairly certain it is the result of sliding my finger along the screen carrying out actions unrelated to diamond use. I am also like others and have purchased enough diamonds in the past and simply work to earn them now. I suppose this is why I find it so frustrating when I lose the majority of diamonds I have collected in one fell swoop. I have taken precautions in the past to avoid diamond loss. For example, I do not cash in any gifts of diamonds or from catching new fish, until I need them. Less chance of losing them this way. But others received from various sources are always at risk. Carrying out any action quickly might result in a slightly uneven pressure of the finger thus telling the game you want to spend your diamonds on harvesting some stupid little item or whatever.
Some time ago, after losing diamond for the $?+# time, I emailed the game administrators with my concern and then hung up my farming tools. I was determined not to play again or at least play a little differently. Or find another game that provides the same kind of fun. But, let's face it. This game is good. Almost as good as an hour of meditation. Seems to be a real stress breaker for me. So checked around for other games but couldn't really find anything to my liking. So back to Hay Day I went. Albeit, again way more careful. But today again, lost the diamonds I had been saving for Tom.
My suggestion to the game administrator still stands. Is it not possible to have to perform a second action if one wishes to spend their hard earned diamonds? Such as a query that confirms their use? Would make a whole lot of people much happier with the game, I think. And wouldn't have people complaining all the time or even hanging up their hat permanently. Any other ideas?
When I achieved level 40, the screen blinked and I didn't get the diamonds, or the extra fields, or the horse/stall. Please help fix!
@JJking: You really need to place an in-game report ticket. Click on the cog icon in the upper left of your farm screen and follow the prompts to record the issue ticket. It's your best bet for getting word to them about not receiving your level up rewards. Within 24 hours, you'll receive a stock email thanking you for contacting them, and a few days later you should get a followup email from a staff member either with a solution or asking for more details so they can investigate.Quote:

I am level 61. Over the last 2 weeks I have lost more diamonds (both pre and post update) than I have collectively over the many months I have been playing the game. Last night I went to bed with 22 diamonds. I woke up to 8. No one else is playing with my iPad unless one of the dogs has learned to use it while I slumber!!! A few days before update I too lost over 30 in just seconds while gathering crops. I have spent money several times in pAst on diamonds but managed to break off my dysfunctional relationship with Tom as I had to check in with him obsessively every 2 hours. I want my hard earned diamonds back.
I, just like so many others, have lost many diamonds this past week. Not only am I tired of losing them and all of the other things that go disappearing, I'm tired of being blamed for it. If Supercell actually answers one of your messages, they tell you to be more careful or try not to accidentally spend them. They say this to however you lost them. It's always the users fault not computer error. I, too want my stuff back.

This happened to me few times, but I always thought it was me. Today I was very sure I have10 diamonds, because I just earned 2diamonds from the commercial, all suddenly it disappeared. This bug needs to fix, it took the fun away.
I am beyond ♥♥♥♥♥♥. I keep loosing exactly 17 diamonds. I sent in a report an issue to supercell. They haven't gotten back to me. But tonight wow am I ever angry--earlier I had 28 diamonds--I know I just watched a video then tonight loaded game and I have 11. I know for a fact I did not accidentally do anything to use them. This has happened 3 times within a week and a half. 3 times!!! I'm ready to stop playing if supercell continues ♥♥♥♥♥ing me out of my earned diamonds.
This happens a lot and players have explained the situation to SC. The only thing that has been done about diamond confirmation before you spend them is a message when you want to make a diamond ring. We need exactly that on ALL of the speed up tabs .
