Reciprocity

When i have the opportunity to buy something good in the newspaper, i always check if that person needs help and if he/she does, i help without a hassle. If the crates are asking for easy to get items, i will fill it all. If the crates asks for more rare items, then it depends on the level of that person and the goodies i could buy. For lower levels, i fill it all if i can, because they have a harder time to fill it themselfs. For the levels 50 and up, i fill as many crates as i could buy 'stuff'; with the degree of rareness what i bought and what that person needs, in the back of my mind.

For the friends... the bar where the friends that needs help appears, is always open. Before i check the daily dirt, i go trough the list and help where i can. I don't discriminate on things like 'how many times that person helped me before' or ' what he/she sells in the shop'. I just fill what i can fill. I rarely fill 3 crates, when i know that person don't have lot's of friends, i will do that, but otherwise, i will fill 2, so other neighbours also have the chance to help.

I try to reciprocate. I will go to a 'helpers farm' and give what they need if the goods are available.
If I help out at a neighbours farm I do not expect them to reciprocate.

I will only buy items that I need and if it means taking quite a few items then I will purchase them if they are needed. If I get deleted for that reason I am not going to lose sleep over it!

i do not understand the 'I will delete you' mentality because they have raided your RS shop. On the other hand neither do I understand the mentality of someone raiding the RS shop just for the sake of it! Maybe they do need all the items, maybe not but it seems a little odd to delete them for that reason without fully knowing why they bought all your items .
If they are persistent offenders ie. take all your items on a regular basis and not giving your friends a chance to buy, then you may have good reason to delete them.

If someone makes a boat request for help on a large number of dairy's for eg. Say 20 in one crate I won't help for two reasons one I won't have that many available in my barn / silo and secondly neither will I try to produce those items just for the sake of helping that person. They should have declined the task at the outset if they can't manage it and not expect others to help them out.

If any of my friends or other helpers read this post I want them to know I appreciate their help and I will reciprocate when I can

I have rarely had to ask for help on boats since I have opened all production slots and keep stuff going 24/7 but do help anyone I see that needs something I have. I have also bought from friends to help someone else fill a crate. I actually live in the country on a small farm and that is just a way of life here. Guess I carry it over to my game play too. As for raiding stands, I am usually on the lookout for my boat order, truck orders and things my helpers and neighbors have flagged in their boat. Sometimes I might buy a lot of stuff; sometimes only 1 item...... Guess I never thought something for sale shouldn't be bought.
