Thanks in Advance.
I'm just sad because I didn't plan for this push well so I have no elixir and therefore nothing to research.

You are early Crystal 3, so train yourself a cheap-as army and go get your win bonuses, you can still make profits.
Your base looks like a TH8 version of the "souther tickler" - I hear those bases only kind-of work at TH10. Certainly I look at this base and think a simple tier-one army will get 1-star easily with no spells - plenty of TH9 roll with that composition where you are now, and even Crystal 2 has loads of giant-based armies - I'd expect those ones to come in from the top and do pretty well, or just pick off the south carefully and WB in easily. And plenty will come at you prepared to use spells and/or heroes...
On the positive, the central tessla are good, they really help pick off those pesky archer queens who snips your DE and TH. Also, your lack of loot will work to your advantage - you'll still get attacked, but probably not as soon as you log off.
How high are you pushing for?
Well, i like the design, but there's just no way that a th8 can defend against a GOWIPE;). (Because you made a southern-teaser base).
And as last, the top part isnt that well protected with splah damages.
But a very nice try to make a southern-teaser base with a th8!
First - Yeah, I'll try to "farm" the loot bonuses. Secondly, yeah, I know, Southern-Teasers aren't super feasible at TH8. But to hell with it. I don't plan to hit masters.
Should I switch the Upper WT with the bottom mortar?
And the Splash will cover top better.
I would think so, yeah.
One final word from me: you may well get some interesting results from this in Crystal 3 - attackers there are not always skilled, there are plenty of TH9 and TH10 who haven't worked out how to use their troops yet, and will underestimate you because you are TH8. But in Crystal 2+, I'd expect you'll see mostly cheap and cheerful maxed-out armies from TH9 and TH10 who do know how to attack. I doubt you'll see a single GoWiPe, it will be a good 80% barbs, archers, giants, and royals; only occasionally wizards etc. I'm really not sure how such an intentionally "unbalanced" base will perform against these tier-1 armies - an experienced raider will simply pick a part of your base that is best suited to them 2-starring you, and get it done for an easy set of cups and win bonus.
Anyway, good luck, let us know how it goes - if you can avoid a 2-3 star loss above 2200, you are doing well.
I'm looking forward to finding out.
I just defended against GoWi. Got 1 star off me.
TH and 49% hilariously. So maybe its ok...
