Hogs are way Too Strong now

I have been playing Clash of Clans since January, and spent many hours attacking and upgrading my defense and walls. I have been in the same clan since February(clashdatass), and 98% of the members in our clan are legitimate players that don't spend much money on gems, but have amazing bases. I want to let you know that Clash of Clans is the most brilliant game I have ever played, and I thoroughly enjoy the genius behind the game. I truly love the game, and want it to succeed. I have created over 70 base designs in clashofclansbuilder.com, to share my knowledge and experience of base design with others, so I hope that you will take my concerns here seriously, and know that I am not just here to complain.

We just started our most recent trophy run a few days ago, and it has become very evident that the recent Hog update was extremely overdone. Most of the players in our clan have maxed level 9 town halls, and a few of us have level 10 town halls. A pack of Hog Riders should not be able to tear through a maxed level 9 town hall in 50 seconds for 100% and 3 stars. There is no defense to withstand these attacks. I haven't seen many attacks on level 10 town halls, but I am guessing the result is fairly similar to the attacks I have seen on TH9.

It is frustrating to spend months and months upgrading walls and defenses legitimately, just to have an overdone troop update like this. I hope that others have expressed their concerns, and you guys will adjust the hogs back to a normal, but reasonable level.

They could use some weakening, but they are defendable.

But overall I agree.

Btw, there cannot be 99% of your clan there are only 50 Members at the most.:rolleyes:;):rolleyes::D:o:):cool:

99% is 48 people in the clan ;)

Hog riders do not need to be nerfed like the witches were. Unlike after the introduction of witches, I do not find hog riders overwhelming, as bases can turn them into bacon if defenses are placed well and/or if the hogs are deployed using a "drop and pray" strategy.

Traps are crucial, and hogs are defendable.

aavp,

what level are you, and what is your trophy count? Have you been attacked by 40 max level hogs? Nevermind, I see that you are lvl114. Post some of your defenses so we can learn. And I just checked out your completely maxed base. So it is possible that you are beating the hogs, but not by much I would guess. And a post of a defense from you will not help the majority of us, because we will never have maxed bases.

. .Dont bother complaining, Supercell won't listen to you, they'll simply ban you for teasing them about just another mistake they've released. A 40 Hog attack is defendable, it's that they're being paired up with a golem, 4 healing spells (lightning/rage spell), ridiculous level heroes, either a few minions/barbs/archers/wiz to roam your defenceless base after the hogs have walked through it. That's whats being used, the only way I find to defend against these armies is to pray that the attacker doesn't have hogs. So to you level 80s trying to farm your level 7 walls and level 6 archer towers, please, don't say that placing bombs and spring traps in the right places will win, they can enter your base from literally any point. Hogs themselves aren't OP, it's when used with rage or heal spells that they become god like and indestructible. Instead of lowering their attributes, how about making it that the spells do the opposite to them than what they're supposed to. -Rage decreases damage and movement speed. -Heal damages the hogs 1/4 of what the total heal for the level is. Eg lv1 heal does 40x, when dropped on hogs it damages them 10x. -Lightning damages them as it would castle troops.-Freeze freezes the hogs for 1/4 of the time it freezes the defences for.-Jump makes them unable to jump..This way, hogs can't be sent into an infinite health, defence targeting, wall jumping, building bashing machine.Ive tried editing it so it isn't a wall of letters.. But it keeps reverting back.
