A neighbour is asking for lobster soup. The boat offers 87 gold, which is even lower than minimum price suggested by stalls (93) and far far away from highest selling price 334.
In addition, one gets 1 boat point... All that for a product which needs a lot of gold and time investment to be produced. Except for altruistic reasons, one should watch out for wheat and carrot requests :cool:
The owner did fill the other lobster soup crates, that shows s/he's responsible and doesn't inflict on her boats to anyone else. All she asked is 1 lobster soup. And pls bear in mind that the owner doesn't know how many LB points/money it will ask. For the owner all s/he can see is money and XPs.Quote:

Although I have 50+ friends on GC, it's the same 15 to 20 friends who are always there, and I repay them in the same way without even thinking about it. I do draw the line at some help requests however, I'm no angel! I'm unlikely to help someone who flags three crates of the same thing and who hasn't filled a single crate themselves, that's just the way I play. If those 3 crates are cream or sugar it's even less likely, but I do try just to laugh at them and say to myself good luck with that!
With regard to fishing, I can't really fish at all because I have problems with my right hand, so I think the fishing nets are wonderful. I make a net for free I chuck it in and wait, and then I get two or three fish, brilliant! Granted, there's probably not many people playing who would see it from that point of view, but I think quite a few share my view of chill, what's the hurry, just relax and enjoy the game. I suppose what I'm trying to say is try and relax a bit more, it's not all about achievement and getting there. It's also about enjoying the ride and the the scenery on the way.
I appreciate your efforts but you should have read more of my posts :) I am continuously helping people and am filling round about 50 crates a day :) if you knew me better you would see that my concern is the logic behind the last update which turned many things to the extreme worse and that is a great pity.
There are many, many things which do not make any sense - such a dramatic under-rewarding does not occur with any other product as many other new issues are not in balance with the rest of the game. It is my feeling that there are either communication probs at supercell or a lack of consistency.
Dont you worry, I am not getting angry easily but I am shaking my head about all that chaos which came with the last update. And dont you worry about me being over sensitive. I am still waiting for a response by SC if they have consulted a neuro biologist regarding the information overflow. Sooner or later they will have to react - no matter if for human central processors or i-devices, the overload just causes probs.

no, sorry, have to correct the number. I used to fill 50+ crates but now it is not more than maybe 20. Had to change gaming strategy due to the headaches and nausea from rushing thru the friend shops. If i dont have in stock what is requested in the needed help list, I try to buy from the newspaper. That takes much longer and to finance that I selling much much more than before. Some of my production is just for selling like chocolate ice cream, soups and such. Also sold almost all my stock of LEM, am casting many more boats off than before and concentrate on metals when it comes to truck deliveries, need to get vouchers from somewhere.
To be honest, the fast pace was more to my liking and I am trying once in a while but have to stop after 20 or 30 shops.
Anyway, maybe this is why I see all these inconsistencies in the game because it is really difficult to develop a new working strategy with the new chaos.
There have been several posts on a the Feedback thread about lobsters in truck orders going for practically no coin and very low XP (snapshots included: i.e. 13 lobster tails earning 163 coin/291 XP), when other products like candy go for much, much higher but don't take nearly as much money or time to produce. Those posters, too, have expressed dismay that such an expensive and time consuming product gives so little return and have also questioned whether this was, perhaps, an oversight in balancing this new product.
I, and others, have questioned why a crate for say 23 wheat nets 3 wheels (no idea of the coin so just comparing wheels to put across my point) while 17 sugars nets 1 wheel. It seems that crops and low end products too often net higher returns then resource and time consuming products. Seems backwards, doesn't it? Logic and real life economics dictate that more complex, resource consuming, and time consuming products should be worth more than simple, quick items.
I would fill that crate for 333 xp points :).
What could you do with lobsters soup beside "trade" it for coins and/or XP to advance in this game? Now we can catch lobster, can make soup and pizza with it. For me, it's just another occupation in the game, another choice of products to make on my machines. I have expanded all my fishing area, it's not like those lobsters prevent me from fishing or anything.
All products don't have the same ration coin/hour or XP/hour and thanks to this we all can choose how to play at different time according to our play style. I would find it boring if all products share the same/similar ratio coins/hour or XP/hour, you only need to queue products needing 3 hours cooking overnight, come back 1 day later and get the reward. People has same playstyle, makes same products, market is full of cheesecake... There would be no variety, no fun, no challenge. I would not be here typing this :).
A little thought on the game. Play the game the way it makes you feel comfortable, turn disadvantage to your advantage. Enjoy!
If SC was a little more responsive we would not have to be guessing all the time.
Maybe they are organized in teams and the lobster aka fishing area team has no bonds with the crops team. So if any team just does what it wants to do then there can never be a balance for the end user. And yet the gaming experience becomes a continuous confusion. This confusion then naturally has to increase the more features and products are becoming part of that game.

Or there is a 1 mussing and the intended award for lobster soup on the boat was 187 but they typed 87 instead?
