Wall Cost

The cost of walls is good for lower levels, (1-6), but at level seven the costs become crazy. I find myself farming forever just to upgrade walls, when I should be focused on other buildings such as the archer tower, I can't be because the ammount of walls and the cost is rediculous, six upgrades to level 8 walls cost as much as to upgrade to a level nine town hall. Just think about that, you can farm for hours trying to get to a level nine town hall, or farm that much multiple times just for your walls. That is ridiculous!

Lol in about a year you're going to laugh at yourself for complaining about walls costing 200k

Agree, the walls cost is too high. Plus, even if i ignore the cost, the builders are all busy and can't really do much with the loot i have saved at least until a builder is free. And then when a builder is free, i don't want to spend the loot on walls because there are many more important things that needs upgrading. So my walls are just sitting idle for months now. Make the walls upgrade without a builder or reduce the cost.

Sounds more like you have a builder management problem and not a cost problem

Wall prices are fine. If you think that the price is too high then don't buy them. Problem solved.

I don't see how this is a builder management problem. They are always busy because, well everything takes so much time to upgrade and everything requires an upgrade to move forward. It's not like I've sent builders on paid vacation. lol

I think you didn't understand my point. When i have loot, i don't have builders and then when i have builder's I wouldn't want to spend the loot on walls because there are more important things to upgrade.

And to say if they are too high don't buy them. Well the game takes so much time, I might as well just stop playing. But i don't think that's a solution. There is always room for improvement. So don't come back and say, don't do it, just because there is a problem with it.

It's a builder/resource management issue. Keep a builder free and dump excess loot into walls. The time required to finish lab upgrades will still be greater than that required to finish builder upgrades.

The game takes less time at lower levels now than it did previously. If it were any faster then the game would not be as successful as it is. There is not a problem with wall prices, they are a loot dump. Either use them as that or don't but don't expect a change.

So would you like hero costs to be cheaper too because there are just so many levels and dark elixir is just too hard to farm?

What you just described is absolutely a builder management issue.

Good builder management isn't about keeping them busy at all times. It's about having one available when you want one

Yeah, I know, my wall upgrades now cost 500,000-1,000,000. Which is crazy

I know the game is quick at the beginning, thats why I say, only decrease the price for walls at the upgrade to level 8 and up

dark elixir isn't hard to farm, I have so much I don't know what to do with it

First, walls have been priced this high for years, although there have been a couple of price reductions (most recently L11 and L10 going down by 1M). Just about every fresh spawn joins to forums to complain about wall prices, and all of those complaints have not had much impact. The L11/10 reduction wasn't a result of complaints, it was because L12 walls were introduced.

Walls add a significant advantage to slowing down an attacker and they add relatively little weight when it comes to war matchmaking. They are priced as they are to separate "the men from the boys." If they were cheaper, then everyone would have max walls, leaving the hardcore players with little challenge.

What you are saying here "If they were cheaper, then everyone would have max walls" totally makes sense, but just for a block that high price...

And if a player is on TH 7 obviously he can't go beyond TH 7 walls like to TH 8 or TH 9 walls....So basically we are only upgrading to max walls that the current TH allows us to...So no NOT everyone would have max walls.

And if this is the case then people should not be also allowed to upgrade Town halls before maxing out everything, I have Th 7 with everything maxed out, but there are people with almost nothing upgraded but are on Th 8...Just saying it should then be fair in all aspects and not just walls...

To lighten up the argument, why can't we have at least a set of 2-3 blocks for current price of 1 block...?

Stop your complaining, they've already lowered wall prices many a time and rn my walls cost 2 mil a piece and that's not even bad I can usually do 1 or 2 a day...

You have too much time to earn 2 mil a day...lol

That is really cheap if you know how much lvl 9+ walls cost. Upgrading to lvl 9 needs 1m g/e and to level 10 you need 2m g/e.

It's actually fine and balanced. You get more or less 200k g/e per attack. With that you can upgrade 1 or 2 walls.
