Easier way to go to a specific farm

I'm not sure if anyone has ever thought of this so I thought I would leave a post just in case.

I have over 275 friends now and when I want to do a trade it can take quite a bit of time to scroll through all those names to get to their farm.

Well, I thought of an alternative way to go to someone's farm besides scrolling through all those names on your Friends bar.

Use the boat leader board.

Ask the person their position number and their farm name.

You can scroll up and down on that leader board so much quicker. Or at least I can. It seems like the more friends I get the slower my friends bar gets.

Once you locate the person on the leader board touch the bar and it will ask you if you want to visit. Touch the visit icon and you go to their farm.

Obviously you can't use this with people who don't have their dock yet. But for those people who are in the 30 & 40 levels, it could be quicker.

i know I am gonna use this when I want to visit my Mom and Sister's farm..

I visit some farm this way too. You can also monitor whether a farm is inactive by observing their boat points for several days.

Yeah...I feel your pain. I always have 500 friends and it takes forever to scroll to lower level friends' farms to trade...especially when you don't have fast wifi. I am constantly deleting friends to somehow make it easier although I don't want to delete fellow traders and helpers. I like your leaderboard suggestion. I think I'll give it a whirl!

You can also flag a tree then they can water it and appear on your last helpers tab. Works in certain cases.

What a great idea! Why I never think of this. Will try this some time :)

I thought I was totally brilliant coming up with this idea but yesterday I realized that everyone's leader board is different.

DUH!

The leader board is based on the number of friends you have and that is different for everyone.

So, even though this does work, it's not quite as easy as I thought.

Some days I can really live up to the ditzy blonde stereotype. LOL

I just wish they would come up with a faster way to scroll. I am sure if they put their brilliant minds together they could find a way ;)

I've tried this too, trough the leaderboard, but what i've experienced, not everyone shows there. Specially not the ones that don't help others as much.

My way is to go to the friends that needs help tap and click on the farm that's the closest in level to where i need to be.

An easyer way to go to a specific farm is already suggested long time ago.. but it can't be said enough!! I also want it to be a lot smoother then the way it is now! Like a pop-up window or so...

you used to be able to load greg's farm and scroll up from the bottom through the shops, but i cant do that anymore. Now all I see on each side of Greg are my two highest level neighbors

Tiggerr, I had the same problem also a while back, till a neighbour of mine told me here (Meonhoc) that this problem only occurs when you have a friend that is lower then level 7. The road side shops unlocks at level 7, so that's why you can't go via greg to the lower levels anymore. When this person hits level 7, you're problem will be solved. ;)
