Any good army for a th9 to go to champ?

I mostly faced th10 with infernos does that army requies heros?

You don't 'need' to hit th10s with infernos in champs, I never did when I was a th9 farming in champs 2-3

But yeah, laloon or just loonion work great.

I never even find a th9 in master 1 just some th10 or if lucky some th11 with ea but other def premature

I dont have lava hound yet but does lava hound helps a lot in pushing?

I am a TH9. I hit master 1 yesterday, but caught by league reset today, and was brought back to master 2.
I immediately went back to master 1 after 2 attacks, and tried to get more trophies. I went 3049 until I was attacked, now I am 3044.

I think I am qualified to answer this because I've been in the Champion I for few weeks now.

As other members suggested you don't have to attack town hall 10(s). There are town hall 9s in there too, for that you can use lavaloon or lavaloonion if air attack is your thing. If you are ground attacker gowipe would work too. But as your progress further there will be lesser town hall 9s and more town hall 10 and/or 11. And also I would recommend changing your base layout because that will help you in the long run.

pretty sure the easiest th9 pushing army is the baby drag army where you just settle for 1*. doesn't look like any fun to me, but that's how the th9s get to legends. if your goal is 1* it's pretty easy to make that happen consistently.

Layout as a th9 in champs+ doesn't matter as much since you will be hit pretty much always by th10 armies and I can assure you that I can, as a th10, obliterate any th9 trophy/farming base with my farming army without much thought and no cc. Maxed troops and heroes of course. And I remember that's what happened when I was in there as a th9 with 3 different layouts and maxed defense.

Edit: for ground, if you can spend some dark elixir, try qw+valks, if executed well you can get 2 stars minimum from th9s and some th10s.
