I like to help boats they are good xp. If i have it, i will help you fill it as best as i can. But i dont open my own sugar and dairy and i dont fill anybody's sugar and dairy crates. The way i see it, they just have 1 less person that will help them with such kind of flagging.
I just wanted to throw in my thoughts on the sugar (dairy) issue. I've posted before something I do that seems to really help with the sugar issue. First is I've opened all my slots for sugar and get the queue lined up. Usually I alternate between white and brown sugar. But here's what I do. I set all my machines to produce all products that don't require sugar or dairy and do NOT make anything needing these ingredients for a day or so. Depending on the size of your barn, I did this even when I had a smaller barn, at the end of the day or two I have usually 20 - 30 sugar of both kinds, syrup set up at night when you sleep. (Same with the dairy too, by the way). After I have these stocked up I still keep my machines running at the same rate alternating white, brown, syrup at night. At this time I start to make products that require sugar and dairy. Since my sugar and dairy still keep producing as I am using them up, I'm always replacing what I'm taking out to make products.Quote:

Yeah, i do the same thing....I use tom when I have him to get a lot of the cakes, candies, etc...and I buy as much as I can in the DD or neighbors stalls...and then keep the sugar mill and dairy running constantly....it doesn't take long for the sugars to build up...I tend to have a little harder time building up the cream, butter and cheeses though. I do try to put the cheeses and syrup on when I head to bed so they can run all night.Quote:

But I think some of you confuse the topic, I don't mind filling dairy/sugar crates for any of my neighbors/followers who are in need, even ones I visited on newspaper.
What bothers me is if they put a farm sign saying "can't help with dairy/sugar" while at the same time they repeatedly ask visitors and neighbors for those same products. I think it's not fair. :mad: I will buy some of their stuff from the stall just for being good neighbor, and move on to the next neighbors.:)
I learn so much from you guys how to handle those kind of neighbors. It's all about choice, and my choice for now is just to ignore their dairy/sugar request until they change their farm warning sign. :D

Yes, LOL I do all the time, including sugar and cream, as long as I don't have a boat coming in asking for the product. Funny to see your post now as I just gave away my entire stock of cream to two different boats. I just couldn't see either of them losing bonus XP and vouchers for one lousy crate.Quote:

I agree that it doesn't seem fair to ask for something while you're saying you won't give it if someone asks you. I think some of us were just voicing our thoughts as to why these people may be saying one thing and doing another and in a way that gives the benefit of the doubt as to their motives.Quote:

I still cast off sugar and dairy boats. Takes too much work to make all that just to use it all up in an instant. I don't usually fill other peoples sugar and dairy boats either. Only time I will is if I see they have filled all or practically all other boxes and just need one or 2 boxes to finish the boat. I'll finish the boat for them.
Same goes if it's the last of an item I have (non-dairy/sugar items). If it's all I have but it means they can send off their boat, I'll give it to them.
