If I'm not mistaken your maxed account and rushed accounts sit in different leagues. For a more accurate comparison you should have them in the same league and then compare defenses. For my TH9 account, I end up losing less sitting in crystal and even have some defenses, but up in Champs I get 3* within 5 minutes of logging off.

How many threads do you have to make on the same subject, making the same arguments? You act like people are bashing your play style, but no one on the forums really ever seems to. I mostly get the sense that people respect your right to play the game how you want, but that they don't necessarily believe it's the only way.

I respect your perseverance about this topic I truly do, but if your always in such a hurry to max and defences don't matter, what's the point of attacking others? For that matter why even play? Basically you rush to max your base just so you can start another and rush it to max?
What's the point of doing that over and over? I'm completely maxed out. In my opinion the journey was so much more enjoyable than now . But to each his own I guess.

Because it's faster to upgrade a base if you max offense first. You get more loot that way, (bigger, better army = more loot from bigger bases). No matter how much define you have, you still get looted. So while you sit there waiting to max your defense, your offense sits idle. Gold should be used to upgrade walls and not defenses. Yes, defense is important, maxing it is not.

Also, in my opinion the game isn't much fun when your max. Pretty boring to be honest. So why the hurry?

Okay, somebody show him the defense log of a maxer.

I got around 130 defense win last season and was attacked 90% of the time by max offense. Most defense won, the attacker only got me like around 20-40%.

Why do you care what ppl think op? If it works for you keep doing it... no need defending your strategy.

You see, the surprising thing is that my mid-maxed TH11 is around C1-M2 as well. The difference?

And as I have stated in another post in this same thread:
"Very good question. For now, I don't have good data but check out one of the links above which has "comparison" there. My other near maxed TH11 account in M2-3 has an idle builder to upgrade walls, so I never reach any amount of loot to be worth hitting.

There are two things to keep track here
1) The stronger your defenses, the more people will <30% you and you get hit more often, much more than 3 times per day as shown in my logs above
2) since you get <30%, the natural thing is to move up in leagues right? Firstly, you don't gain more loot in higher leagues and it is hard to gain the same amount of loot. Secondly, in high leagues your defense does not matter again, you'll get crushed regardless

You see, a rusher can more easily keep low loot because we have tons of short upgrades and tons of cheap ones. A maxer has to save up 9mil over 2-3 days, I just need 1mil to keep my builders busy. Read up the post I put, the determinants of defense. The crazy thing is, every single aspect can be controlled by a rusher or a maxer, and defense levels play almost no part in loot protection

To be very strict, only maxed TH11s can be "maxed". Rushing is the route to max, the fastest and most efficient way. Its also not about getting to maxed TH11 the fastest, that's just my own goals. A players can min/max without maxing TH11 and enjoy a far more rewarding journey than blind maxing.

20-40% you say? That means some of your defenses, you lose loot more than once. My mid-maxed TH11 also experiences the same. Lose 100-200k for 1-3 defenses, then get hit for 400k. That means I lose 600-900k per defense easily. Far more than the potential 450k I lose on my rushed account, but as you can see, I merely lose on average 200k per defense
