Do you upgrade your barn? I feel like I'm upgrading constantly (every other day or so). I try to sell a lot in my shop to free up space and usually sell all sem and lem.
I've read that once you hit 1,000, you get 50 extra spaces rather than 25. I'm only at 800 now, but I'm definitely looking forward to that!
I'm at 1550 now and plan to upgrade this week. I think it's about every 2 weeks that I upgrade the barn and every 3 for the silo. The great thing about doing the silo 1st is in my case I free up almost 150 spaces in the barn.
I upgrade every week or so, and my barn is at 350. Sometimes I find lots of tools though and upgrade faster. I need a bunch of planks right now that I can't find! Grr
I'm at 1150 right now and only focusing on my barn. I upgrade as often as I can or as often as I can get enough planks :(.....bolts and duct tape are not a problem. My silo is at 950 and seems to be fine for me at the moment...I would like to upgrade it more but I want a bigger barn. :o
I too cannot get planks but have bolts and tapes. My barn is at 925 and I am going to concentrate on it as my silo seems find. I upgraded it yesterday just to get the stuff out of my barn! I want a bigger barn too!!Quote:

Wow, 1550 for barn space? I only dream of all this space... I'm at 950 and took this time during the newspaper event (which is boring for me) to get all my production to 15 of each. Sadly I just couldn't do it. Not enough space. I am collecting to upgrade both my barn and silo at the same time even though I shouldn't but I just wanted to upgrade my silo once more and then that's it for now. My silo is at 850 and I don't seem to run out of space but since I have most of what I need before I decided to upgrade it, I thought ok, one more time. That will free up so much space in the barn! I'm having a heck of a time finding bolts. Funny how every time I read a post it's always one item that is so illusive that it's like the holy grail of expansion items, whereas another farmer has so many they don't know what to do with them all. I would LOVE to have a look at the algorithms in Hay Day. Since I work with algorithms daily, it would be interesting to see how the program looks from their point of view. Sigh.... until I find bolts, no upgrade for me...lol.Quote:

I'm not as far along as all of you...my silo is at 450 and my barn is at 500.
I hoard all BEM and LEM, as well as any axes, saws, and mining equipment. Once I have what I need to upgrade something, I do it, but that can take a little while for me to get everything, and it's usually planks and boards that are tough to find for me for BEM, and deeds are quite elusive for me for LEM.
Like CEMFF, scourging for BEM and LEM seems like my life's work...LOL!
