That maze IS a great thing, isn't it? I think it deserves a name: the Delaying Maze for Visitors, or DMV. LOL

I LOVE THE STRATEGY, but I need open spaces in my town to bring harmony and happiness to my spirit. So my neighbors better get a move on, because my townies make bee-lines LOL

FYI: this is what 61 Townies ready to go home looks like on the platform.

See their feet? The size of the brown circles tells you how many townies occupy that space. They are stacked like sardines LOL

... which begs the question: HOW MANY TOWNIES CAN THE EGGSPRESS TRAIN PLATFORM HOLD?

I freed 2 more as the train was pulling in, so the record number for me is now 63.

Great question. I feel a fun experiment in the works.

The question is how come the train can pickup 62, but can only bring 14? ☺

Just hit town rep level 46. Only 63,637 to level 47 👍

that's kinda how trains work. think of the northeast corridor trains. they could very conceivably drop off 14 people at one stop (less than full transit travel, local to local - say hamilton to newark airport), and then take on 62 going to new york city.

i'm not saying it's fair or balanced in game, but it's not unrealistic either :)

Some of this could be done *BY OTHERS, NOT ME!!* using statistics and math, with a few assumptions:

Assume the town is fully expanded to 42 visitors, has all buildings, each building has 6 seats, and serving time in each building is fully upgraded. Also assume the Eggspress is fully expanded (14 vis), as is the Personal train (10 vis per 90 min). Also assume you can pick up 10 one-stop townies every 90 min, AND that every 90 min 10 in-process townies get sped up and released.

Easy peasy -- LOL

2120 12 Jun -- I am a Level 127 farmer Woohoo :) I get a field to art with :) and 12 diamonds :)

I am about 1/3 of the way to Lev 35 in town, which exceeds my goal. I have dropped over 100 diamonds speeding up trains and B&B folks (which is new for me). I do wait until it costs 2 diamonds to speed up the B&B. :)

I've been tempted to do that, my B&B and Spa keep bottle-necking!

I wish the town could be more like this all the time; that's how I think it will feel if I keep leveling it up more. For my interest levels this event is as strong as the 24 hour visitor event.
