Piggybacking on Cowslips' answer: you can check how many visitors will arrive in your next Eggspress train by tapping the train picture on the depot sign. That will bring up a notice telling you how many visitors will be on the next Eggspress train, with a warning if you have room for fewer townies than your train will bring (depending on how many seats you have upgraded it to).

Then check the town hall for the status of all your townies, so you can know who will be fully done before the Eggspress train arrives. Plan to collect from them before the Eggspress train arrives and they will not deduct from the number of townies coming on the next Eggspress train.

If you're really quick, you can collect gifts from town visitors when the eggspress arrives. It takes a short while for the passengers to disembark, during which time you can tap quickly on the buildings to release the fully-served visitors. As soon as they have given the gift they no longer count for your town total.

I have my town designed as a maze, so the released visitors always miss the train and have to wait 6 hours for the next one. That means my hoodies can pick them up.

Following on from my last post, here is an image of my town:

The maze means that anyone released from a building has to make their way to the top of the screen, walk behind the buildings there, and past the town hall, towards the station. By the time they have done that, the eggspress has left. There is a similar maze on the beach.

Closing in on my first level up, sadly my personal train can only take 8 passengers so obviously my main goal is to level up to max it out!

I won't get 2 levels, but will get 1 and hopefully bite a good chunk of the next one. I look forward to a train that picks up 10 every 90 minutes.

I'm at the 1/2 mark for leveling up in town. I just upgraded 2 buildings so I'm hoping at the end of the event I'll have reached the next level! Right now my town is level 23 and my farm is level 83.

Last day dawns - I am at 20% of the way to next town level and only 110K xp from Lev 127 :)

Looks like I might come up a little short on my goal :(

I started the event about 15% through my way to town rep 22. I did hit town rep level 22 last night. So, I am hoping to get 50% to 23. I think it is doable. The great weather this weekend got in my way :cool:

Cowslips you've inspired me to remodel my town. I've been putting it off now I will. Your maze to delay the townies is perfect. Thank you! And more in keeping with ops thread this event has become my newest favorite event. I hit 38 with town and 4 farm thresholds. Woohoo!
