I was surprised at the small number of help flagged for this last event. Even though I have been playing for almost 3 years I am considering stopping too. The tool drops are tweaked out of control - so many mining tools I have to sell, as all of my hood members are swamped by them too, the trucks, on higher levels asks for ridiculous orders, the town folk ask for lobsters, jams, cheese stuff and then graciously give you an axe.
i never liked boats, but generally go along for the whole world community thingie, but it is getting harder - shovels, saws and axes for sending away boats loaded with jams, cheese etc??? 5 diamonds??? Also, even though they stopped asking for similar stuff in same boat, they keep asking it in sequence, this event: goat cheese then feta pies, then feta toast, then goat cheese again, then tomato soup. Last event, fish pie, fish, fish burguers, seafood salad, fish again.
Also, derby changed a lot of the dynamics of the game. Most people who do derby disappear when they finish their tasks, coming back only when the new derby starts.
Anyway, it went from "yey, an event" to "oh darn, another event". It is high time the creative team do some serious brainstorming about the subject. There are plenty of good suggestions in this thread, specially the catalogue, which will satisfy more people.
