Possible solution to Hoppers

If a hopper leaves a clan, elders have the option to pin the message to the top as a sticky. When the leader sees it, he can either remove the sticky status, or give a point to the hopper.

Points appear on your village screen. No one else can see them, but clans can put a point limit on them, just like the cup limit. For example, if someone has 10 points and the point limit is 5 to join the clan, he can't join it.

The main problem that i see is that if someone leaves a clan, even if theyve been there a while, the leader could issue a point out of spite for leaving. Then the guy with the points would be unable to join SOME clans. So I've thought of 3 things to help to prevent that:

One: The leader can only issue a maximum of 3 points per day.

Two: Clans can only set a point limit of 3-15: So even if someone is looking for a clan and doesnt find the right one, and 3 of the leaders decide to use one of their points on him, he can still ALL join clans.

Three: Points reset daily, to prevent people from being locked out of clans for more than a matter of hours.

Any feedback is welcome, as long as it is constructive. I have recognised being locked out of some clans until the next day of the problem, try not to only talk about that in your posts. If you have any ideas to improve my idea please post them.

I dont see what is the problem with hoppers. It is not a big deal. Just look at profile how much he has donated or tell him to donate before request. I would not mind if a guy got dragon from me and left, deal with it

U might not mind, but i certainly would. Im sure there are more than a few others who would care if someone took their dragon and left. Not all of us have piles of gems. This is not an alternative, simply an extra.

Try to make it invite only and see profile as I said.

Hopping is a part of the game, even if people most don't prefer that

I know nothing about the profile thing, as i stopped playing 6 months ago. I did however make a clan that got into the 70s, and several other top 200 clans. And the 'anyone can join' was essential for all of them. Perhaps the point system can only work if they request for troops before leaving. U might not be able to understand (no offence intended!) the frustration when someone takes your troops, swears at you and leaves, but most do. This is a possible way to stop that.

First of all thanks for not offending me. :) You can see player profiles by pressing their name, and press "profile". Scroll down till you find their "friends in need" achievement. There it shows many troops they have donated. If the person is higher than lvl50, and only has like 1000 donations, he is clearly a hopper. But if it says donated troops 10,000, chances that are that he is hopper is minimal.
