FC Cool down bug
Android: Galaxy S7 running 7.0
The last couple of days I have noticed a bug on the FC cool down timer. I have tried the following with a couple different accounts, all seem to result in the same thing.
Home Village has no timer, copy home village to both of the alternate Home villages. Try to initiate FC, verify no cool down on any of the 3 villages.
Go into layout editor, click an alternate (not the active village) and click edit layout and the the cancel button. Try to initiate a FC, now my active base has a cool down timer. Not only did I not change my active village, I did not move any objects. Tried this on 4 separate accounts: TH9, TH9, TH10 & TH10.
I then changed my active base to one that was not locked, toggled on my double cannon & swapped it with a regular cannon. No cool down set. I then went into Village editor, and clicked edit village on a non active layout. Clicked cancel (no changes again). Now I have a 24 cool down on my ACTIVE base.

I'd recommend also reporting this in-game to ensure that it gets to the devs.

I have had this problem as well, others in my clan have experienced it too. I did message SC in game. Initially I received a generic response saying it was sent to the development team. I subsequently sent another message in game with screenshots and their response was "the switch to double cannon is considered a modification and above the TH9 all modifications performed in your base will automatically trigger a 1 day cool down period."
I responded and tried to explain that the changes were made in the war base yet it is the home/active base that is receiving the cool down. The war base is not affected by the change and is still available for friendly challenges. SC's response to that was "It has always been like this. The cool down triggers in both bases. This has mainly been implemented for matchmaking reasons and strategies." :facepalm:
So even with pictures, SC is just not getting the point. Changes being made in the war base edit layout mode (even switching skeleton traps from air to ground) is triggering the cool down in the home/active base and not the war base itself. It is not happening in both bases, as they said, but the home/active base only. It occurs when you go into edit layout mode and any change to any base that is saved will put your home base on cool down, even if no changes were made to the home base itself.
I see now they were in the process of rolling out another update so they didn't have time to look at this as a high priority item. It is not a huge deal in the big picture but it is annoying nonetheless.
I am on IOS 10 something, so it affects IOS as well as Android.
