I think the update's really impressive. Base editing is a huge plus and I look forward to using it. I don't understand why so many people believe Supercell owes them something.

To be fair, without us there is no supercell...

And a lot of people spend significant amounts of cash to play - so they probably expect a degree of progressiveness as a result!

I play for free so should probably keep my big mouth shut - or rather fat fingers still! ;)

Will it affect gameplay? Who knows....but I'm quite sure SC will figure out a way to make it work if it means fattening thier wallets;) And with the expansion comes the assumption that SC and CoC are gonna be around for a loooong time....which personally makes me smile!!

You have no idea if they will get more money, in the beginning they surely wont as new players might wait months before they decide they like the game enough to spend their real life money on gems.

I imagine they have to spend alot of money on new servers and programming for the androids and this is a huge risk in my opinion.

Edit: Also, having a bunch of android players means they need to be supported aswell, whats gonna happen if Supercell starts neglecting the iOS user because theres so much pressure from both devices who want this and that. Theres so many things that could go wrong!

The way i see it theres gonna be a lot more inactive raids a lot more premature raids and a lot more players as a whole whats not to like about coc going to android think of it this way we have had the game a year android will be just getting the game within a few months a lot of ios players will be nearly maxed while android players will just be starting their first storage upgrade.

As far as base editor this will only apply to me in a few months when i transition to th10 i rarely change my base so no biggie for me even tho it will be awsome to be able to move things in village without having to set something completely outside of village to replace it with something else.
