Prevent random donation

We usually state what troops we want in our clan castle, but some itchy hand just won't stop donating something different that what we requested and no name will be shown unless we on our devices 24*7 with video recording app running. I've been experiencing this for 4 years now regardless which clan I jump to. It's time the developer do something about it. I don't have time to login every hour to check whether I have receive the right troops.

Yes, it is annoying when people donate the wrong troops. But you need to add more details to your post; how are we going to stop people from donating the wrong troops?

Perhaps we should be able to see who donated us when we log in ... so that we can see who donated to us when we were offline..

In addition to being ruled out, that wouldn't solve the OP's stated problem. They would still receive wrong donations. Any mechanism that would restrict the type/level of troops that could be donated would likely be too constricting in practice.

OP, all I can suggest is that you join clans with a better quality of member where the only times incorrect troops are donated it is by mistake and immediately announced, with an apology, by the donor.

I would like it if the donate now menu would appear when you request instead of a text-box. You fill your capacity as if filling a request. The list of the requested troops and spells appear in place of the written message in the request. When people donate, whatever troops and spells that don't match the request will be grayed-out.

The level of the troops and spells may be customized with two buttons on each troop and spell icon, but this feature can be requested later.

Part (or all) of your problem is in bold above. Clans have no obligation to be loyal to a hopper. If we open our clan for recruiting, when someone joins and immediately requests high level troops, we give them whatever because we know those types rarely stay. But I'd say most of the time, it's another hopper donating the garbage to increase their stats. Find a good clan, become an active and loyal member, and they will respect your donation requests.

Kinda agree with this. This would solve wrong donations' problems out. Plus, it would make it easier for those "fat-fingers" to donate troops.

I suggest make another thread with a poll, and see if the rest of the community spots out something negative.

OMG, this is the first time we have agreed on a topic :-) to commemorate I will hop twice on one leg and tell my door it's a good boy.

Silliness aside and to add to what Aspex has said; this idea would only add restrictions to the game, add new problems (sometimes you just need troops fast so you say any after you request, so then you need a cancel button or change button programmed in but then you run into a gem issue. So now what you have is a system that forces you to gem if you click to fast or on accident.

Also there is a time cost/reward issue to consider. is it really worth the time to program a restriction into the game to solve a problem you only get in bad clans when the programmers time could have gone to a bigger issue or better content?

Anyway; going to go hop a couple times now ;-) don't shy away from talking just because we didn't like your first idea, and maybe if you didn't just jump around between clans and found a home you wouldn't have to deal with it as much.
