if the hogs have to be nerfed...
I am not necessarily saying they need it, but there seems to be growing pressure from others, and I can only speak for what I see at my level...
There have been complaints that even maxed-out bases are vulnerable to hordes of hog-riders. So Supercell, if you decide that they do need their powers limited, instead of reducing their speed or hitpoints, or adding extra springtraps, please consider the following suggestion (also buried in another thread):
For each level of hog, define the level of wall that they can jump, perhaps as follows:
level1 - can clear walls level 1-3
for each subsequent level, allow them to clear one greater wall level so that...
level5 - can clear walls level 1-8
This will then reward wall-builders and encourage further 'investment' in walls (a significant earner from the game) and will address the apparent overpowered nature of the troop against very strong bases. It will also make people think more when they raid with hogs and will allow more subtle strategies to develop, together with evolved base designs.
