It's June! Hay Day's 5th birthday is coming up!!

I'm hoping we all get our invitations soon! Dibley Fields is getting ready to set up for the occasion.

Last year was a bit of a surprise, to say the least. It was the first appearance of diamond packages with deco bonuses (other than fundraising specials). Also, when the birthday event opened, we weren't sure if there would be a special birthday prize--as I recollect, the mayor was just holding the usual diamonds.

I'm sure the SC team has fun stuff planned. Last year the "theme" was Mexican. We had gotten the taqueria in the summer update, and the diamond-package-deco included a piñata.

This year, my guess is that the summer update will feature whatever has been going on near the construction in town. Since there is a "crossing" sign, I'm guessing animals of some sort. Could that be part of the birthday theme??

Any other birthday wishes and guesses??

Those were fantastic, I really enjoyed reading through those; still sometimes check that forum to see if we will ever get anymore.

And looking forward to see how team Hay Day will celebrate their birthday.

Not too excited, new areas? - more stuff to collect, new products - more unreasonable boat and truck demands, new decos - only for the deco minded, new challenges? That would be nice if hd decelopers ever come up with something like that

Coco (that's his name) is an American Eskimo Dog, Chinese Crested, Icelandic Sheepdog Mix, according to the DNA test.

Thank you Frisco for sharing the picture of your work area. Nick mentioned in the past that Team Hay Day has a small team. He wasn't exaggerating as I count 6 members in the picture.

There can't be more than 8 people working in that small area. :)

I foresee a need for Zoo Expansion Materials (ZEMs). WHY?? 2 reasons:

(1) Because that smudgy sign really looks like a bear or hippo to me, and folks here have been asking for a zoo for a while. So I think a zoo is coming, and we will need a train to take us there.

Zoo? I know a similar farming game where there's a zoo that gets unlocked on higher lvl. I want hay day to be unique from other farming games coz hay day is far superior to them. Either way, the way hay day applies it is more important and I hope it's different than what we have already seen.

I would think it would be something unique... Not quite a zoo, because that would be animals in captivity, which seems to go against the grain here.

Yeah, I'm not a great fan of animals in captivity for entertainment either WP - I much prefer the style of zoo that is about education, conservation, and rescue.

I agree. Since circuses with captive animal acts are closing down in RL, I'm hoping that Hay Day isn't going into the circus business. I like the preservation of endangered species "sanctuary" idea. Since gorillas, elephants, and pandas (like our statues) all fall into that category, fingers crossed for something conservation-oriented.
