Arena - darkdeath
When I joined Centum Arena, I thought it would be easy farming trials with trials similar to Ludus. I was wrong. When I graduated Ludus, I looked at the Arena trials and I was like this would be a breeze. When I started my Arena trials I breezed through most of the trials besides the 5 war attacks. I finished all my trials besides getting my 3* attacks down.
I ran out of time to finish my trials. This is around the time Arena started to experience with the coaching system. Alesia messaged me on BAND asking if I wanted to experience the coaching system, so I said yes. I was assigned Leon and Ethan as my coaches. At this point, I was absolutely trash at GoLava and GoHo. It took me a while to get down the execution and killsquad of the 3* attacks. However, with the help of the leadership and members of Centum Arena, I was able to learn how to 3* most TH 9 bases (it look a month or so for me to get it down LOL).
All in all, I learned a lot of things I wouldn't have learned without being in Arena, and with the help of everyone in this amazing clan system (thanks Solo :p). With the war trials, it helped me gain the ability to 3* some bases and make me look like I know what I'm doing, but in reality, I don't know what I'm talking about.
Arena - Vexodus
The moment I passed my trials at Ludus, I was anxious to start my trials here at Arena, unfortunately at the time I was a new th9, & thankfully I was given great advice to wait a few weeks and develop myself a bit first. Once I finally thought I was ready for the new set of trials, I was sent to Arena & was introduced to a new trial format, which is the coaching system Arena has adopted over the last month. Looking at the trials, I knew I'd have difficulties in the war part,
since I had never before tried a GoLaVa nor GoHo. But with this new system, I had been assigned 2 coaches, Rutvik & Bill, I thank these two most of all, they helped me out tremendously with every single war attack I had done. When I failed they never got frustrated with me, except the fact that I ruined Rut's breakfest a few times lol.. They gave me a massive amount of tips and advice for my war attacks, I've now ended up from doing only 1 star GoLaVas/GoHos to 3 stars.I've greatly enjoyed the past month here at arena, and am looking forward to perfect my current capabilities and learn even more strategies here in Centum.I'm also glad to say that my farming has been greater than ever since joining centum, as when I first joined here I was a max th8 with max skulls & around a 330M GG, and currently am sitting at 600M+ with maxed Legos and now recently 10 achieved Lavas.

I first joined Arena as a mid th9 with underdeveloped walls. In my first war I had taken a look at my clanmates bases and immediately noticed that my purple walls stuck out; everyone else had full skulls as a minimum. To top it off, I definitely was not a strong war attacker, so having to leave the comfy farming clan of Ludus was definitely scary. Although my first few wars were rough, I was lucky enough to come at an exciting time in Arena. The leadership had decided to try a different development tool for incoming trialists. All new members were given two coaches who would monitor their activity, farming, and help develop their warring abilities. As mentioned before, my first few wars were rough, fortunately I had my coaches to fall back on. I was paired with two awesome clashers, Bench and Emma. They both did a terrific job being extremely active with me. Despite both having extremely busy schedules they always were able to review war plans or answer any of my questions extremely fast. Both coaches held that there was no such thing as a failed attack, as long as you could learn and correct your mistakes in the next one. Thanks for everything Bench and Emma!
Even though I am not consistently 3 starring bases, I am miles ahead of where I was before. I now have full skulls and I am close to finishing my legos. Going forward, I hope to continue to develop my warring abilities in Arena, as well as get my heroes up. I cannot thank everyone in Arena enough for all the help they have given me throughout my coaching period.

Arena - fanks
After completing the Gladius trials back in January, my next goal was to complete Arena trials. I had been looking through the trials for many months and finally felt I was ready to make the move as I know it will take 2 weeks of dedication to complete.
Afrer 1 trial, I was told Arena is now moving to a coaching system instead and I didn't know what to expect...
However I was fortunate enough to be assigned two very dedicated coaches in Alesia and Zugaikotsuryu and they provided me with constant advice and "film" on my war planning, base design and attacks.
I can't say I'm now an expert in war but I can certainly say that through this coaching period, I have found it can be the smallest things like the order of troops to deploy which can turn a 1 star to a 3 star attack. It will be through constant practice to improve but my coaches have certainly provided me with the foundation to do so.
I feel this coaching period has been invaluable - it's no longer about the amount of gold/elix/de you can farm, but about the second or millisecond on when to deploy a certain troop in war.
Thanks Alesia and Zugaikotsuryu - you have provided me with another great clash experience and Centum is indeed the best family of clashers!
Arena - Cykotic
It is difficult to express the experience I have had in Centum Arena. There have been high points, and points where I felt like I was learning everything again for the first time. Times when I felt as though I had it all figured out just to find the game had changed again and I had to change with it or be left behind. Times when I doubted my ability to contribute to make the clan better. With that said I can definitely stand behind the statement that I am a better player now than I was when I joined and it is in large part due to my fellow clanmates and my great coaches.
The members of this clan are truly a great group of players and people. Always willing to offer advice, review attack plans, discuss crazy attack ideas, and constantly find and share new sources of information to make the clan better at attacking and defending. I found this to be espically true of my two fantastic coaches Dynasty and McCO317. Not a war went by without us reviewing my plans for attack in great detail. They were both great at offering up alternative views of the plans and going into detail as to what would and would not work and why that was the case. Later in my development they allowed me to offer my feedback in conjunction with their feedback about attack results from my attacks and their attacks. The sharing and participation in that process opened the door to a deeper level of understanding of the game. They were patient with me and knew when to kick it into high gear to get performance. The coaching experience was truly one that will last well beyond the coaching period and I hope one day to be able to offer that to other players as we progress through the game and grow together.
