What’s unfortunate about this clan is it is enduring the same travesty that is happening to the majority of the rest of the clans. With such high attrition rates it leaves less then desirable members filling the ranks. Unfortunately the leadership can do nothing but endure the downfall of what was once I’m sure a great clan, the sun setting of global has made it challenging for all. I spent over three months in Centurae and I pray you learn from what I post below. If you fill the need to join a clan because of the awesome advertising on the first page, player beware that was from 2013, a time when COC was well a different time and place. Back in its day I’m sure this clan was amazing, however we live in the present, do yourself a favor, research the clan tags and you will see only a few of the clans have a decent membership number(+30) then ask yourself why. Notice they make their war history private, don’t be shocked when you join and see a steady decline in CWL rank. Ask those hard questions. Just a little personal experience, not once did I here anyone attempting to advise on attack strategy like advertised, it was more of a scramble during clan wars and CWL for the top bases to tag the lower enemy bases in a hope to brag about three staring a much lessor base. In turn this left the rest of the war members scratching their heads to figure out how to accomplish an attack on a base ranked way above their own war standing. I.E number 15 who is freshly a TH13 attacking a max TH13. With that wars are seldomly filled with more then 10-15 individuals in which several of the participants are opted out and only selected to make numbers. I fill sorry for Hotmama the clan leader she can do nothing but sit idly by and attempt to support what she feels is best for the clan. Don’t take my word for it though if you feel the need learn for yourself, just don’t waste as much time as I did. Or take a page out of this message this might not be the clan for you. Sorry to hear of your experience.

Centum is very much still an active group and recognised across the clash community. We have players applying daily to us (mainly via our discord channel and website now). Most of our clans are full and have a waiting list. We take feedback from our players regularly and your views don’t match that of the rest of Centum players.

JOIN CENTUM TODAY!

After a long hiatus and a spate of joining inactive or unhelpful clans, the Centum group really appealed to the clasher in me. You see, at the time I had little war experience and I was still trying to recover from rushing my TH. Upon seeing the recruitment posts on the Supercell forums, I thought there would be no better place to start.

I was assigned to Gladius, eager to begin my training, looking back on it now I can say with absolute confidence that I was not disappointed. The trials are unique in their approach to teaching and, as I was reminded time and time again, designed to challenge participants. And challenge me they did. Thanks to the trials I’ve learned new things that I otherwise wouldn’t have known and I’m pleased to announce that I have managed to get over my clash-phobia, taking on the (once-) dreaded inferno towers.

The lesson that will stick with me the most comes from Challenge “G8: Overachiever!” - no matter how challenging the situation may seem, with persistence, you can triumph, at least in-game anyway. I had once thought victory over TH12s as a TH10 was impossible, I have since learned that with the right composition and the right know-how a 2 star is within our grasp!

Finally, I would like to thank all the Gladius elders especially my mentor, Matisse, for guiding me throughout the trials, I really couldn’t have done this without you guys <3. Really, it’s been a blast, and yet I know this is only the beginning. I look forward to being able to further develop (and raid) alongside those of the Centum family.

When I first learned about Gladius I just came back to Clash of Clans after a long break and was looking for a nice war clan. I read about the trials and I was astonished someone actually does such a thing. I applied and had a really nice talk with @SheRah/Gladius . I was reluctant to join at first because I couldn't start the trials at that time for a reason I don't remember now, however SheRah told me that it's fine if I wait with starting my trials. And boy did I wait. When I learned I could just stay in the clan without the "pressure" of trials I didn't really push the leadership to get me into them too quickly. I was constantly upgrading my heroes and the queue to the trials was quite long, and every time @TotallyNotLopez | Gladius asked me if I'm ready for them I answered that I just started a King or Queen upgrade, so he can take another trialist instead. After around a month I finally started my trials for the first time. I got assigned to @Blubaru - Gladius and finished the first couple trials in 6 hours or so. I got really messy with my screenshot sending, however Blubaru sorted through all of them and didn't make me redo any trials. He also was very reasonable with the requirements for passing certain stuff, so I never felt like I'm supposed to do something exceedingly difficult. When it came to war attack trials, I got lots of help from @₩@RR!ØR/SG | Gladius and @SweatyNipz Gladius . They helped me plan my attacks, pointed out small things that could completely change the outcome of the attack and gave all around tips concerning attacking for example Inferno Towers, which I don't have that much experience on being a TH9. With the help of all the guys I tagged and @everyone else I managed to complete my trials first try and I'm super happy to be in this family!


Mercury - Centum Gladius :
It is been tough week for me to complete all the challenges. I was busy with everything and still managed to complete the trails. Yeah.. I am graduated.. all the challenges are made to the perfection and if amateur attacker enters the clan using six different attack startegies in three wars makes him more versatile and comfortable with all the ground and air attacks.. I want to thank everyone who helped me throughout I specially want to thank @TotallyNotLopez | Gladius he would responded on time.. and making me uncomfortable doing some challenges again and again.. and I learnt so much from doing them against and thanks for planning my war attacks... He give me detailed sketches with explanation and an army composition for me to attack properly and I still remember he made explain the plane once again... So that.. I wil do it properly and there are few people I would specially thank them...... She rah.. Hrithik warrior and thank you everyone out there... Keep clashing...

Borplex - Centum Gladius :
Well I finally completed trials everyone and let me say it was harder than I thought it would be but 2nd time is the charm I guess? I did fail once due to my terrible sleeping schedule but this time I decided it do all of them in 1 or 2 days (other than g9 and g6). And then my phone broke but, thanks to @₩@RR!ØR/SG | Gladius and @TotallyNotLopez | Gladius I was able to pause and resume when I got a new charger for my old phone. And I want to give thanks to all of @GLADIUS Leadership for helping me plan war attacks and @₩@RR!ØR/SG | Gladius again for grading all of my trials and answering my questions! And finally @Hrithik | Gladius for helping me with g8 last night! My fingers are starting to hurt so im going to end this here can wait to be a part of the fam!


Legend killer - centum Gladius :
After being away from the game for a long time, i have become too rusty. So after coming back to the game and spending some time in Ludus i wanted to join Gladius.
First of all i would like to thank @SheRah/Gladius for bringing me to Gladius. Even though Gladius was almost full at that time and there was a long waiting list, She offered me to join and hang out and even do wars if i want till my turn for trials come so i came here.
Doing these trials second time, it wasn't intimidating. Farming trials were easy but War trials required some effort.
Failed the first attack miserably but still passed the trials with ease Thanks to @₩@RR!ØR/SG | Gladius who helped me plan my attacks and gave me a lot of fcs.
Thanks @TotallyNotLopez | Gladius for answering all my questions, helping me plan my attacks and finding the donation data after i forgot to take screenshot before season reset.
Finally i would like to thank @Blubaru - Gladius for spending some time and grading my trials.
One thing i liked the most about Gladius was the culture of posting fc every time you request.
Thank You everyone for helping me whenever i needed something be it troops or fc or anything... You guys are amazing

ABRAR**Atrevido - Centum Gladius :
Okay, so here it goes. It all started when I reinstalled Clash of Clans in my device after almost 4/5 years. It was a good kind of nostalgia with the lack of a community. I jumped from clans to clans and at that time my only focus was war loot and cc troops. When I was sick of not finding the perfect clan with the perfect people, I googled and I found a clan named "Centum Gladius". I just applied thinking, "meh..". Then I got to know you had to graduate in order to be a part of this clan. I thought maybe it's not as bad as being part of almost dead communities I jumped from in the past. It gradually grew into me the fact that how people connect in this clan. It's clearly not about the game, but the wholeheartedness of the people in this clan that kept me from uninstalling the game again. I'd like to thank all of those who helped me get through this trial. If you managed to read this till here, you already know that my trials experience was undoubtedly good.

Nemo - Centum Ludus :
I completed the trials yesterday and I have to say for a clan family to have these trials is a cofidence booster, giving you the guarantee that youbare about to join a good clan. I think their main goal isn't to test a players abilty since they aren't too hard, but to thest a players commitment to joining. The cool thing about the trials in my opinion is that they opened my eyes to a number of farming strategies I didn't consider before, previously I only used barch but the trials showed me that adding some goblins really makes sense. Also, I really liked the Cake Funnel challange because I found it very unique. My only suggestion is maybe increasing the requirement in gold grab to 2.5 to 3 million to make it actually challanging (so can be applied to #L7 increasing to 350-400k gold or 3.5-4k DE)
Overall I really enjoyed the trials and they sure made me excited to be part of Ludus and therefore the Centum Family.


Twylo - Centum Ludus :
Alright, here goes my review of the trials! I've gotta say, they looked pretty intimidating at first, but once I got going it was really addictive. I really appreciated being forced out of my comfort zone with different troop compositions for farming (I'm pretty much only used barch before). I think my only farming complaint is that I banked so much loot that I had to gem some upgrades to spend it all Seriously, 4.4mil gold in an hour? Awesome sauce!


Overall, I think the trials are awesome and a really fun challenge. Probably the hardest was donations because there weren't a lot of requests that I could fill with my TH8 troops. Would love to see more people requesting "any" to make that part a bit easier but I managed nonetheless

Mattise - Centum Gladius
hello everybody! I had a great experience with the trials. I thought that the most important one was G6. This challenge introduced me to several different war strats that I had never used before. Not only that, it required me to communicate a lot with Gladius leadership about technique too. I’m excited to be able to learn new strats even out of the trials! Thanks for everyone who helped me along the way especially @SheRah/Gladius and @matisse | gladius I am very glad to be apart of centum and all that it has to offer!!
