Anti-Hog layout 2900+?

Hello everyone... So I am currently stuck at around 3000-3100. I am really trying to push for champ, but I am having a hard time with hog attacks. I can deal with a few 1 star losses but a -24 or -28 due to 40 hogs hurts. So my question is, has anyone found or made a successful anti hog village for high cups? I would imagine it would have spring traps and big bombs strategically placed but maybe not.

A little info on my village... Th10, max towers (-1 wiz tower, lvl 7), and lvl 8 walls.

Been using maxed hogs since the update, just got annihilated on my last raid by the clan castle being full of lvl6 balloons😰. Wizards cause problems in the castle as one lightning spell will not kill them unlike archers, but the balloons were a nasty shock, 36 hogs gone in 30 seconds even after using two heal spells on them.

It is possible to beat off Mr T!

They do. But they for sure do not 1 shot balloons.

I have used balloons in cc before but I find that they are not fast enough.

I'm an early th9 farmer, so just providing food for thoughts:
- What if they are nerfed next update? =)
- HTK hogs lvl 5 by max def: cannon 8, AT 7, mortar 10, WT 9, tesla 11, xbow 52. I wish there were a time to kill chart.
- How many hogs can a spring trap take at once? Only 3?
- Can you plan your design so that you know where the hogs will go after they attack a particular building? If so, it may be worth leaving small gaps with spring traps.
- What about giants bombs next to a defense building?

I know 1 spring trap can at least take out 3 hogs but I want to say more.

Yes my village has traps inside ame with giant bombs. The problem is that if a heal spell is out I don't think giant bombs kill them.

Also on your time to kill chart. I think thre is one someplace on the wiki site.

Interesting feedback overall. I think the wizards in the castle are likely to be the best ones against the common hogs spelled attack. I agree balloons are too slow in defending these 24 speed hogs. I had these level 6 wizards in the castle overnight however they could not resist this attack with 4 witches lvl2, king and queen both 40 together with the 35 hogs!!! Yeah above 2800 you just need the money for this ;)
