How about gifting everyone the gem cost of the league bonus loot that will be lost in that first raid?? This would seem eminently fair to me!

If it wasn't for SCs answers in the Reddit Q/A the other day, a season extension would have suggested to me that perhaps a change to legends league is coming and they want it to start with a new season, but weren't ready to start it in 3 days. Unfortunately, the answers they gave showed they really don't understand trophy pushing issues fully and have no immediate plans to improve the clouds.

Likewise, I had the same wishful thinking at first. There has to be some reason for it. Wonder if leagues are about to be added to BH. Maybe they wanted to see where everyone landed after a couple weeks.

It's all good, nothing a week long 1 gem resource boost can't fix :)

Fix the clouds and all would be forgiven...

As has been said to extend a season by 7 days without prior notice is PANTS...most people plan the end of season to finally take the family out as they have been a hermit all month...others plan shields and other parts around the end date fo season.

THe real kicker is the lies in the announcements thread - server fixes.....NO DON'T LIE TO US IT WAS AN EXTENSION TO THE SEASON AND PROBABLY OTHER THINGS WE HAVENT NOTICED YET!!!

Come on Supercell stop being a closed door you are losing players over this sort of behaviour

This is NOT making recent Massive changes more palatable.

For some of us it isn't just one win bonus. For two of my accounts (TH10 in champs 1 and TH8 in Crystal 1) it was.

But my other two accounts are both TH9, were in champs 3 but below the threshold, so are now in masters 1, and until they get back up, are losing the difference between M1 and C3, plus 4 times the difference in star bonus.

For everybody below Legends, this league extension has actually had the effect of shortening the league by nearly 4 days without warning, followed by a 1 week next season. I had been going to start pushing those two TH9s this evening to get them above the threshold by the season end.

Still no word on WHY the league season was increased by a week and whether it means the next season will be a short one?

I don't pay attention to trophies, and when I did play it wasn't high enough to worry about league bonus either. So, this did not directly effect me.
I just wanted to tell Darian that even though this is bad news, it needs told. HONESTY is always the best policy. Don't put thick coats of sugar on stuff, just the honest facts, sir. Thanks.
