Right at the start of this thread Darian contributed that he couldn't comment (fair enough), but that another member of the team would have something to say about it. Yet still we don't know.

They're a small company, they must know - I don't understand why no ones said anything what's the big secret??

I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case really ,the main base game play seems botched the more they try to balance it ( miners, bh update and so on )
I used to buy gems( before the miner fix) and was prepared to give it a go again if this last update looked as promising as was hyped ( bigger than clan wars ?)but my confidence in there commitment to pushing main coc base further on is waining . Im sure my minuscule amount cash dont hurt their bottom line but i am a paying customer who has stopped .

Thanks, I think its a real shame that we are being kept in the dark about this.

The cryptic responses from support don't really help as usual, something about changes to the league system and the reset being a side effect of that.. oh and check the forums frequently to find out more...

Guess we will just have to wait and see what their plan is.

Well i just got an in game message from sc saying that they havent extended the season, it happened due to a technical glitch, they are aware of the issue and doung their best to solve it ASAP'

Well, they have extended the season whatever they say. It was due to finish in 9 hours and now it finishes in7 days 9 hours, seems extended to me.

Plus Darian said the badge reset was an unintentional side effect of extending the season. Hopefully we get an update in roughly 12 hours from now. Would be really bad if they let us go all Monday morning without new information.

I say there is a 50/50 chance SC is working on some kind of update that can only happen when a new season starts and that there was some kind of issue with it that they are trying to work out.

They have already admitted the reset on badges and season stats was a mistake and they apologized. If the extension of the season was also a mistake due to a glitch during maintenance, they would have included that in the apology. They've got something cooking and the it's taking the programers a little longer than expected to get it worked out.

Whatever it is, it was always planned this way and is hitting it's target date. The delay in season was a planned deal to hit this date.....if you can't read the sarcasm in that, I don't know how to help you.

It is 9:10 am Finland time. Are we getting an explanation today?
