So - why extend the season. What is the reason please?

So those Legend players that purchased a 1 week shield with the (old) end date in mind which has been extended beyond the shields time have been umm screwed?

Will they be compensated for this intentionally extended seasons end that was NOT announced...or was it?

Anyone?

There is no 7 day shield in legends. Only 1 and 2 day.

I agree in the thanks for the "sorry" but I'm struggling to figure out why, 7 hours after the announcement, we still don't have anyone simply telling us why the season was extended by a week. This isn't life or death and it isn't going to ruin my day either way, but on the other hand it would take 1 minute for someone from SC to just come on the forums and say why they extended the season.

I was a little perplexed what was going on this morning, but this explains it. so, really the long and short of it is it cost some people the loot bonus on one attack. 10 pages of complaining over that??
