Does anyone see an elixir problem?

This is all based on the assumption that we will see level six troops with more Elixir costs

I have TH9, while loot is down since upgrading it's not awful, and the additional defenses have fit my style of play well. However, at TH9, I have been having a hard time building Elixir.. Often I'll fight a battle where focusing on the gold doesn't give me enough Elixer to replenish what I used. All pumps are maxed, so I have been able to save some, but at this point only have 1 xbow

Once I get a 2nd xbow, and the additonal cost of level six troops, the fact that there has been a lot of new uses for Elixer. At the maxed level, 2 X-Bow's will now use 4 times the Elixir of the single original X-Bow, dark Elixer storage and pumps use millions of it to upgrade, now level 6 troops both upgrade costs and cost of using every time.

I am very much wondering if for raiders/farmers with high level troops Elixir shortages won't be an issue? It is borderline for me.. since TH9 upgrade I have had to focus at times on raiding Elixir to have enough, have only upgraded one Elixir item.. And it looks like the need for this stuff is about to grow!

Perhaps we will see Level 12, 13, etc. Mines/Collectors?

Maybe with the new troops you can deploy even less of a army to get lots of resources, of course if you're struggling it will take time to upgrade I suppose.

well.. I believe for th7 and below, and some of the th8, elixir is excess.. seriously too much elixir, too little gold :(

I bet they will require dark elixir. Get those drills upgraded!

2m to upgrade drill is a joke i rather spend it to upgrade troops n steal

Agreed I also hope the new troops balance out the strength of defense. It's brutal out there

It sounds like you need to use cheaper troops. The key to building elixir is to use archers/barbs/goblins. And to hit targets with a lot of elixir in stock of course.

IF we see level 6 troops the troops will be even more expensive. On the other hand I guess an additional level of troops will make it a lot easier to kill targets, should even out nicely.

I've almost maxxed my elixir at TH7. It's currently around 3.7Mil (4.001Mil is the max).
The only things left for me to spend it on are...a level 7 barracks (that I can do twice) and a level 8 barracks...and troops whilst I raid for gold, or removing obstacles.

If I did get bored and did those 3 upgrades before TH8 arrives (which I don't actually have time as it's only 4 days away now), then I would be empty. But I kinda wanna keep it for the lab and level 5 archers. :-)

Either way, it's not gonna be a real problem for anyone...the mechanics of the game pretty much allow you to afford the pump/mines upgrades, and once they are maxxed, that's over 400k a day, which even if you got fully raided twice a day, would still leave you in profit...and you'd hope to be able to keep more...and plus you'd be raiding for more anyway.
Also...ppl being bored will gem more resources into the game, and new ppl join and grab it from the goblins, feeding into the system too.

It'll just mean more time for normal players....again!

This is just going to create more farmers...... "Sigh"
And more farmers creates more complainers..."Sigh"
