But, I would say (you know, I love being a contrarian) that there should be sufficient differentials between the TH levels. A TH7 should handily and easily beat a TH6. Agreed? A TH8 should easily beat a TH7, all else being equal (noob levels of players, gems used, etc), no? So, the same for TH8 vs 9.
The differential between TH8 and 9 has often been discussed in the past several months. And the conventional wisdom was "don't rush it, max your TH8" as it's not worth the upgrade. Was this not often and repeatedly said here on the forums?
Set aside, the specifics of wall units, X-bow, etc, etc. But, we all know that many smart players camped at TH7 then at TH8, knowing there was not "such" a burning need to go to TH9. And I agreed with that historical perspective.
It goes to follow then that SC would address it with a natural upgrading of TH9. One of my accounts is TH9, and if there was ever a TH10 released, I would accept that a TH10 should kick my rear end. If a TH10 couldn't, um, what's the point of upgrading? Knowing me, I'd probably gem right into a TH10. But, if I couldn't afford it or was unwilling to do so, I wouldn't whine about it. I'd accept that's the nature of the game and life: there's always a bigger shark than you in the pond.
There will, I expect, always be ever higher levels and TH, troops, and such. We cannot all get all the goodies in one second, so let's have fun getting them together. For those gemmers who rush to get them, so be it. For others who farm for it, so be it.
Let's have world peace and make love more often in bed,
