Since upgrading to the iOS 7 I am finding its hard to get the keypad up im sure bugs will happen due to the new software just would like to inform you if you haven't yet found out.
Having the same problem. It happens after you've pressed the return button. The cursor stays in the text field. And when you press it the keyboard doesn't come up. After you press somewhere in your village and then again on the text field the keyboard pops up. Repeat after each message.
Once you send the message, the keyboard goes down and normally if you click on where you type it pops up again, but not since ios7 update. instead u have to close chat and reopen it. annoying... please fix and update soon supercell...
I have the same experience. No need to close the chat window, simply tap anywhere else on screen and then in chat field. This works, but is still annoying.
