Every once in a while I get a kick out of the animals on the farm.
Last week the frogs were trying to jump into the cat's milk...a couple succeeded, lol.
Today I'm visiting a neighbor and about 20 frogs are trying to get into the locked chest.
I even found one eyeing my dairy.
Silly Frogs!
We wish we knew how to get more frogs. We don't have ANY, while other farms have TONS!!
Share your best (humane) frog collecting tips -- we have 3 ponds and they don't seem to attract frogs in the numbers we'd like to see :(
I had more before I put out my one pond. I still get the odd stray in the oddest places...like all the way across my farm (from the water and from the pond) near where all the locked expansion plots are and by my production machines, lol.
I like repeatedly tapping on my pond and watching a million frogs appear, I do the same with the bird feeder..Lol
The thing about ponds is that they do exactly what it says on the box, they attract frogs. Your frogs will apparate from the river and from there unless you have blocked their route, may spread across the farm. They also appear from the boggy areas which most people get rid of when they clear their land. Frogs will still appear from that area even though the bog has disappeared. If there is a pond fairly close by they will then jump into it and disappear. Tapping the pond may bring them out for a while but they'll go back in again. I still have several of my swampy boggy bits and put ponds close by which seems to bring about a happy medium. I always have a few frogs but never too many. Then, when your farm is filled with frogs, bring out ONE pond and watch how they form a line and jump into the pond...almost like watching an army of frogs marching in a parade.

I love a few frogs but use my pond to catch them when they get too numerous. It makes for a fun mini-game chasing those little hoppers around with my pond. My son is a Leap Year baby, so I may let them all out for his Birthday. :)
