Townhall Level 8- DE protection base designs

I have a nearly maxed TH8 base.... :)

I'm at the point where I don't need to protect gold, all my defences are done and I'm investing all the gold I earn straight into walls. So now I'm hitting bases purely for DE... And any gold I earn is invested into walls immediately and the purple goo I earn is pumped straight into my expensive armies.


I need a TH8 base design with ultimate DE defence, to stop these pesky quims from taking all my black ♥♥♥♥.......nothing else is important..... My slimy black junk must be protected at all cost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hmm interesting vernacular! Firstly, max your DE store as the hit points help. secondly, climb up the trophies. I got hit by a load of lightning raids when farming at 1250 but at 1800 people just don't bother. However, if you are using lightning on others, expect it back from TH9s but drop them on TH10s with impunity! I tended to only lightning raid revenges as I hadn't sussed out the loot penalty mechanics at TH7 and when I was TH8, there was no TH10s to pillage!

If I have 3 lighting spells and someone's got DE I can't get to.... Imz gonna unleash the wrath of the godz to steal that suckas junk.

Iv gotsa idea... I'm gonna try outfox attackers.

i might stick me Townhall in a corner of the map along with a special treat.... Put a purple goo container and a gold pit next to it. Sure ill lose gold and purple but it will be tempt every player that visits me to attack. Take out my TH and pick up their special treat no matter how noob their army is.


should provide me with a constant shield when I'm not jacking people's junk.....

To do list......
1. so super duper DE defence base....
2. Townhall in no mans land with a special treat next to it.

I'm gonna try save 60k for golems level 2 :)

I think we are almost at the same point. i sit on a full storage for 2 weeks now and the layout i use is pretty good to protect DE. Well this night i was revenged with 11 drags and 3 rage spells, he did 67%, i don't think we can do better. Check it.

did you have any defenses against wb+ raged giants? from the side of right Tesla for example?

Combining those two ideas, i.e. like that base, but some storage between the TH and walls, and also move as many tessla towards the centre as possible, they are kind of wasted so near the perimeter - at least swap with some remaining gold storage or similar.

And yeah, make sure you are in Gold 1, 1900 is good DE but plenty of useless attackers.

Yes i had, and it s awesome to see all those lvl 6 giants flying with the traps. To my experience with it, attackers come from bottom left and right sides and i can say i obtained better results than using my previous one (pingfao).

I really like this layout, but i want to try to fit CC into this core first.

Why bother staying at TH 8 if you are maxed out...time for TH 9 and the xbows...you won't be bothered after that.

TH8's with lots of DE are juicy targets.
