Player just asked for my GC and password -- DO NOT GIVE IT OUT

Hi everyone - a player with no avatar just asked for my game center ID and password, and has sent me a friend request through the forum.

When I tried to report the message it got deleted instead. Wanted to giver everyone a heads up - not about this player per se (I am sure that is not his/her real name) but about the inappropriate request for a game center password.

Thanks for the warning about this new spam attempting to steal account information!

I suggest you send this info directly to the mods they can add the warning to the sticky about false staff asking for this info.

I tried to and blew it away instead. Duh. Not techy :(

I sent the mods a PM instead

The original message I got was:

"Hey send me your GC and password cuz it will be good for both of us."

VERY DOUBTFUL THAT IS TRUE -- HA HA

Never give out your GC I.d to anyone under any circumstances. You can report a pm or vm directly to the moderators if this happens to you, this will help us deal with the situation as quickly as possible.
