I need a new base...

So, I was playing today, and I realized something: I've lost every single attack in the last two days, even though I use a hybrid base. Now, seeing as I've been attacked 12 times since Saturday, that's quite alot for a base that was previously impervious to TH 10 attacks. :rolleyes: I need a new base that will protect my gold, and optionally, my TH and elixir.

Any suggestions? I don't really want to use TTP or pokéball...

What trophy range are you playing at? Every TH8 base would have trouble at crystal and up against those TH9/10 attackers. But anything up to gold 1 should be doable for a good TH8 base. If you don't want the popular pokeball or TTP, you can take a look at one of mine :rolleyes:

I'm farming at 1400-1600. I didn't loose many trophies, only about 200 in all. It's the large amounts of gold I'm loosing. Even stuff that's easy to save up for like the level 6 mortar upgrades (1,600,000 gold, I have 2/3 mortars to level 6) are hard. :confused:

Would be easier to give tips if you show us your base. But if you don't want to design one yourself... Mine is focused on protecting gold and should fulfill your needs. Just check my signature.

2/3 Level 6, saving for last level 6.
All level 5.
3 level 2 Teslas.
All level 4.
3 level 11 Gold storages, 3 level 11 Elixir storages, 1 level 3 DE storage.

Level 4, need 10,000 more DE to level 5.
I use him in every raid I can. (I use 20 minute Barb/Arch)

A bit odd that you can't hold your gold. Your base looks decent enough. Though it has some improper junctions at the bottom and I would avoid the x junction at the top. Place the cc at the center. Your gold storages seems well protected and the rest looks fine. Though it lacks some funneling.

Also, you really should upgrade your archers if you haven't done so yet.
