But all jokes aside, I think that we already have enough space. The only times where space becomes an issue is when you get really late game and have too many buildings.

I like this idea. You could do this from a high level and perhaps need both lots of money and some resources like iron bars and planks to complete the bridge. Maybe the other side of the farm could be something different to do, I don't know what, more space over there would be boring in my opinion
