Newbie questions

Hello all; I just started playing tonight & mistakenly sold the last of my carrots. I have carrots for sale in the Roadside Shop & when I click it there is an Edit Option but it doesn't give me choices on what I want to edit. I need to cancel the sale

I am also very frustrated with barn & silo full notices. The tools to upgrade them should not be occupying space there but rather a workshop would be good. I have no planks regardless of how many trees I cut down. I have checked neighbors & the newspaper for carrots & planks to no avail.

So far not impressed don't know why everyone advocates this game it requires constant babysitting. I'd like to give it a fair shot but this expansion problem is ridiculous - thanks for any tips - Japaami

Hi Japaami!

Currently there is no way to edit the roadshop items. Keep checking the newspaper and also click on ads that just advertise eggs. A lot of times people advertise eggs but also have a lot of other good stuff.

You don't get planks by cutting down trees. You get them by harvesting crops, feeding your animals and in treasure boxes. A lot of times your neighbours will also sell them if they have an overage.

The "Barn is full" notices do get very frustrating. Just hang in there and upgrade as you get the items. The game is much more fun once you've been playing for a little bit. Good luck and keep us up to date on your progress!

The best place to buy things is actually friends' shops. If you have friends who play that is. You can link either through Facebook or Game Center.

This is a fun game, it just takes a little getting used to. You will quite quickly expand your barn and silo, you don't need that many bolts etc to start with.

If you send me a Game Centre invite I'll happily pop some carrots into my shop for you! (My GC name is in the signature, note the spaces between the *s and the rest of the name.)
