How did you start playing Hay Day!

Hi Hay Day-ers
I have been having this argument with my fellow Hay Day-er.
I got started when my kids' started playing Hay Day, while she started by ad she saw in other games.

I think Hay Day is a game that is definitely kids friendly, and kids are the key spreading factor for Hay Day. Does anyone agree?

Love to hear how all of your started playing Hay Day, and if it is a recommendation from a friend, did that friend get recommended by kids.
Also love hear a little back ground you!

I usually download applications to get points which I can convert later to money :).

Hay Day may be or may be not one of them (I don't remember). I was sick that day, might as well saw an ad for Hay Day and wanter to kill time. Downloaded once, stay forever :cool:.

I saw an ad through another game I was playing. Downloaded Hay Day and never went back to old game :p

Used to watch ads on another game to get free things, saw Hay Day ad a few times (finger clearing hay with a cute fox running just ahead, I think). When the other other game had too many faults which made playing unbearable I decided to give this game a try - never went back!

I have 4 nieces who all found the game on their own and love playing it. Funnily enough they all play on phones, whereas I play on an IPad. If it were just a phone game I woulndn't play, and if it was just an IPad game they wouldn't play.

My grandchildren introduced me and my husband to this game and all watch the progress. They like o help too!:D

I read an article about Supercell's organizational culture and the article mentioned that HayDay is very popular amongst women in my age group, so I decided to try. It seems I am a typical representative of my age group, since I've played HayDay for months now. :-)

Saw other mothers in my son's school playing it.

My daughter played all the time and wanted me to play too - now I play more than she does!

Saw my cousin playing it on her mini, those hypnotic finger swipes that we all have come to know fast and furious, i cant stop noticing.

after 3 straight days of her playing it i got curious.

"Whats that you are playing?"
"Hay day, better than that smurf thing (not that i play that lol)"

curiosity got the better of me. I downloaded HD and it got me hook, line and sinker. :o

I sometimes filter to top selling/most popular games to see what's hot on iTunes and Hay Day popped up.
