Hi everyone, thanks for the reports! We have noticed this same issue in some older devices (think iphone4), and we may have found what's causing that lack of responsiveness to touch input, we'll fix it as soon as possible! We'll continue to investigate & test in other devices too, it's likely that it's the same issue . anywho, just wanted to let you know that we're on to it! Sorry for the inconvenience!
Its been nearly 3 weeks mate - You've noticed the same issue in some older devices? When? Today? Ive had a support case opened since the update dropped...Ive been told its a space issue on my device (Nope), to delete/reinstall the game (Nope...Issue still there)....Inconvenience is an understatement.....WHEN are you going to fix this??...Your post relays a message of minimal priority being given to this bug... "We'll fix it when we can"....you understand a LOT of players will stop playing(If they haven't already) if this issue is not fixed ASAP..Quote:

Optional Update (08/06) - Bug Fixes
Hey Chief!
We are starting to slowly push out a new non-mandatory client update (v9.24.18 on iOS, v9.24.15 all other app stores). It includes:
Fixed a Wall issue that caused walls to be thrown back to the inventory after saving layout
Improvement for low end iOS devices not responding to all touch presses (most noticeable at max zoom on iPhone 4/4S for example)
Builder Base camera is now centered to the village in replays (just like in battle, visit and home)
Builder Base replays now play proper music (used to play home village battle music)!
Please update to this latest version as soon as available!

My IPad is an Air2 and my IPhone is a 6. These are not old devices. It is truly frustrating.
This is still an issue, the last update did not resolve it for me. It's extremely frustrating to lose attacks because of how difficult it is to time the drop of spells of deployment of troops. It really kills the fun.
I am on an iPhone 6 (MG632LL/A) with iOS 8.3 (12F70) and a screen protector. Reinstalling the game helps a little for a short while but never clears up the issue and it always gets worse over time.
This is also happening on my father's Galaxy S3 9.7 running Nougat (not even a month old) and my Kindle Fire HD 8.9 running KitKat with custom recovery/rom. Had no issues before the builder base update.

Would like to feedback that the issue also happens on iPad Air especially in zoomed out mode.
Yeh. I have an iPad Air 2. Not an old device issue.
Really frustrating especially in war.
