Is the clan castle the most valuable defense?... Yes! But that is the not the question you should be asking.
What you should be asking is whether or not the increase in the capacity from 25 to 30 is more valuable than the increase in your other defenses.
That is a difficult question to answer and depends on a variety of factors.
i d say that the clan castle is only the most valueable defense if it got a dragon. Else everything else gets one shottedby lightning.

But you can use that extra cc space every time you attack also. And you can recieve golems if someone donates them. I say its worth it
5 wizzies in the CC is close to 1000 DPS. That's 20 times more powerful than a Level 10 Cannon.
