Please fix Mismatch and War Weight Problem in Update...

Our clan as thousands of others.... is constantly bombarded by mismatch wars. I know this has been hashed out on here numerous times as many others with same discouraging set up have complained here and on Global chat. COC really need to get busy fix the war weight loop problem It may be allowed to finagle the WW System to cheat the game, but it is very unsportsman like and COC needs to fix this mismatching of war. I see so many players quit and are discourage by this. How about giving us a fair advantage against these loop holes. A reject button if we come across such a mismatchup engineer clan. Where you can refuse maybe up to 3 choices? After all COC you say you want fairplay lets Fix it ASAP. The game is getting really old and boring with the same scenario time after time! I hope your next Update improves this dire situation for fairplay. I love playing COC.... but this seriously needs to be dealt with as I know COC wants the to be fairplay. COC is aware of the problem by now. Quit putting it off and do something soon. Your Customers who play fair will appreciate ya. Thank you.

What exactly is the problem you are facing? I kinda don't understand it if you say "War Weight".

As the term is used WRT CoC, engineering is Fair Play.

SC are committed to improving the MM but as engineering is a valid playstyle this does not mean that you will never face engineers, just that neither side should have an advantage.

If you wish to propose changes to the game you should post in the Ideas and Feature Requests sub-forum, if you want discussion on the issues of match!along the Clan Wars sub-forum would be the correct place for you to post.

Everything that contributes to the strength of a base, both offensive and defensive, is given a weight. This weight, along with those of all other participants in a war, is used (along with other criteria) to match 2 clans for wars.

Okay, well i wanted to make a post about fat level 7 dragons in a clan castle during clanwars. When you attack a level 18 player in a clanwar, and you get crushed by 6 level 7 wizards. Or a strong dragon. Assuming this is war weight, i considering this the most awful thing that Supercell allows in this game. It's a reason to letterly STOP playing this game. I'm level 47 and only playing for 4 weeks. That's war weight? Well it's the dumbest thing ever... Reinforcements are acceptable, but not a lvl ** against lvl 2's :/.

It is and has been a major problem for months. I understand there are those who don't like fairplay and want to manipulate the game due to perhaps lack of skills or just because they can. It Still don't make it fair or right. However, War weights are way off when your TH 6-8 are pitted against TH 11! Not cool. Definitely not fair. This is a definite problem with the COC game. The algorithms in war weights are off and need to be tweaked a bit to close the loop hole. Yes, at the moment it is allowed to mismatch games due to the loop hole that COC could & should fix. Yes we can all go rogue and do engineer bases... but what is the fun in manipulating the game in the way it was not intended. After all COC preaches Fair play. Lets make it Fairplay. Lets close that loop hole. Make it more challenging with skill not by cheating the War Weight System. Yes, we can all cheat the system COC currently have set. But, how about making the game more skill driven. The Problem with WW manipulation don't make it right in actual fairplay. Skill does. This definitely a problem that COC can easily fix. Lets see you do that for the fairplay of Clash of Clans Supercell. Please Fix the algorithms in war weights to be fair for all clans and bases.

As I told you, engineering is Fair Play. It most definitely is not cheating. Asserting that engineers are cheating is seen as toxic on the forums, as is calling people's skill or lack thereof into question.

Repeating myself, if you want discussion go to the Clan Wars sub-forum as this does not fall under the purview of the Bugs and Problems sub-forum.

I did not say it was cheating it is manipulating a problem not addresed. Yes, it is allowed as it currently stands as a manipulation of the war weights. There for there is a Problem just like a bug or a glitch is a problem. Mis match due to war weights being off needs to be reported so COC can investigate and fix the problem. COC should address problems to enhance the fairplay in COC. Mismatching clans is still a problem and needs attention. :)

You keep mentioning fairplay. As the link that I gave shows, FP in CoC refers purely to not breaching the ToS, i.e. not cheating. You saying engineers are not FP is the same as saying that they are cheating.

Engineering is in no way manipulating the MM. The matchmaking algorithm is not changed by what anyone has built or not built. No one is even capable of manipulating the war weights without server access.

As I already said, SC are committed to improving the MM and providing wars where no one has an advantage. They are already working on this and have been for well over a year, making periodic changes to the MM and monitoring the results, using more than just anecdotal evidence.

You got an answer to everything. If a company has to stick 1 year of it's energy into balancing the game or make it better then the company does a bad job. Nuff said. Not impressed by your forum status OR the amount of posts you have typed. The people that have complaints have the right to do so. Supercell can do better, i have tasted that already. And the annoyance is very big with this one hence they don't even take the time to reply to a help petition i made almost three weeks ago.

Currently in a war where we have no th11s only our top two have infernos but we have been matched with 3 th11s all with th11 troops not sure how you see that as fair. And these th11s positions are 2,3 and 6

No. That is not war weight. Those are clan castle troops. They assist with attacking and defending. You too can use them, it is recommended that you do so with the highest level available​ to you.

There are no level 7 dragons BTW, and I seriously doubt that a level 18 player would have a level 4 CC. Or a level 3 CC either.

I shall retire from the forums as I have failed to impress a random stranger (that I didn't even know existed prior to them telling me that I didn't impress them). Or, I shall carry on as I have been as your opinion is a matter of supreme indifference to me. Which do you think I will do?

If you think that anything that I said was factually wrong then say so and say why but for you to post just to say that you're unimpressed by someone who wasn't trying to impress anyone, let alone you, really is a waste of everyone's time.

If you think that constant, ongoing improvement to a product is a company doing a bad job I take it that you are using v1.0 of every piece of software that you possess? Or should we disregard that criticism as the nonsense statement it is? MM is arguably better now for the vast majority of players than it has ever been.

So what is this help petition that you speak of? How did you make SC aware of it? What sort of reply are you hoping to receive?

Facing TH11s when you have none does not automatically make the match unfair, especially as they do not have all TH11 defences. Without knowing the full lineup, offensive and defensive strength of both clans it is impossible for anyone to comment upon the fairness of your match.

If you want a critique of the match you should post in the Clan Wars sub-forum, including as much information as possible about the strengths of both sides.
