Overturn a Leader

Hey guys, I don't know if many of you guys who have experienced this issue but I have many times. Since the leader is the ultimate and supreme boss in a clan, who cannot be kicked by any member of the clan, the idea is to be able to have monthly votes to overturn the leader for a number of reasons, mainly inactivity (many high lvl clans have been forced to disband because of an inactive leader). I feel like if supercell allowed an optional monthly vote where all the co-leaders could vote to overturn a leader, if the decision was unanimous, then a new leader would be put in the original leader's place. Obviously examples like if there is only one co-leader then wouldn't he/she be able to just get rid of a leader, but we can leave the nitty gritty things up to supercell. In case your Leader have been offline for 3 month you can write to Supercell Support, they can in some cases demote the leader and give leadership the the co-leader that has held that title for the longest time.

Leadership of a clan is not a democracy, it is however a dictatorship. Leader made the clan (he paid for it), leader is the ultimate leader, no matter if the clan-members like it or not. And if you don't like it, then leave and find another clan that suits you.

If you don't like the way a leader is running their clan you can leave. It's their clan and you have no say in it.

An inactive leader is a different matter but you should never be able to overthrow an active leader - putting​ up with them or leaving the clan are the only options you should have.

Easy work around to your idea no one gets co or demote them right before the "month" time and promote after. Your next idea will include elder, so I will demote everyone to member. Why? Because it's my clan.

I do support this thread. We need to make clans a democracy!

I do support the thing to overthrow leaders and vote on a new one when that leader is overthrown, but members, co-leaders, and elders should be able to vote to overthrow.

I'm a leader and I'm sure most leaders have second accounts which prob are co leaders

You buy a clan and you own that clan no matter if you are active or not active or if you decide to kick people you don't like without any reason. No one should be able to take that power from you because you are allowed to do what ever you want with what you own. Same if I buy a phone, I am allowed to break it. Nobody is allowed to own my phone because I want to break it! You are not clan leader because people elected you but because you bought a clan. Then no votes or democracy can take your leader power away unless you give it to others. Other clan mates and members are not forced to stay in the clan! They can leave if not happy!

The only way you get democracy is if SC creates x amount of clans and allows this, until then dictator it shall stay.

My previous post was a way around this vote.

If you want a democracy you are free to form your own clan and run it as one. What you do not get to do is make it so that every clan must be run as one.

Is this for real? No one would try to start a clan if they could lose leader by a simple vote!

If you are unhappy then start your own clan. Don't try to hijack someone else's!
