Don't do it! You're robbing our other friends of items they need.
Sorry, but you'll get the friend boot if you do that, now that we can see each others' fishing areas.

I have done all my expansions but still buy to help my granddaughter expand who hasn't been playing all that long. I don't grab everything I see, just what she needs. Once she finishes expanding I see no need to buy the expansions...they just take up room in my barn.
Whoa. It's a game. A friendly game that has caring players who help other players when they need it. If it is in your shop and for sale, I would think your intention then was to sell that item. I buy expansion items on occasion to help other players. I lose coins on every item to do that, but to help out. You can look at it this way: your barn has more elbow room and you have more bling in your coin pile. Just saying.
Have to agree with MarySC and Bestajunior.
Wow. as they noted- its a game and you really have no idea what goes on on the other end aka- the other player's farm or why they do that. Telling other people how to play the game also goes against the nature of the game- everyone has their own way of playing. I don't mind the wide variety of people and their strategies (up to a point- I'm sure I have a threshhold- this just ain't one of them).
Pretty harsh too- just hope none of the people doing that to you happen to be your close friend!
I have everything expanded and still buy expansion items to help my mother, my sister, and now my husband.
Yes, both of these EXACTLY! I think deciding what another player "needs" is very judgmental, and quite frankly not anyone else's decision to make.
No one knows who is helping whom. There are forum members here who are "fairies" and give expansion materials to new players to help them out. Once the new player expands, the "fairies" ask the expanded player to play it forward and help out other new players. The fairies will often buy things on others' stands to get the correct amount. I am quite sure there is a lot of that going on.
My son has a newer farm. He has a LONG way to go to expand! I am saving any LEM's I get, and buying or trading for the others that he needs to expand. He's my son, so of course, I'm just giving him everything at 1 coin.
I don't think that the higher level players have much to gain by buying LEM's that they don't need, that take up room in their barns, and for which they most likely pay full price.
I can't understand why people complain about others buying WHAT THEY PUT ON SALE! This is not stealing. You put the items in your store to sell them, not to advertise how kind and generous you are. If Home Depot has a sale, no one asks me "do you really need that?" As long as the buyer pays the stated price, it is their choice whether or not to purchase an item. If you have a problem with that, don't put your items up for sale.
"grant me the serenityI think this quote fits this situation. Once you put an item on sale you have no control what happens to it after that. It's just how it works, try to accept that and enjoy the game.
To accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference"
