My daughter got a pearl on her third attempt and is very fond of reminding me of that fact! lol. I quit counting nets at 66, but I know I am in the seventies now!
I figure my lack of pearl is due to winning the BRT on the 1st try.
Well looks like my accidental vote for the fish as my favourite animal on the farm & Tuintje prediction was correct 😘

Just to confirm....the white pearl can only be found in Spot #4...correct?? This is the spot to the bottom left of the waterfall area.

No plaineater, it can be found in any of the fishing spots. Matt who is the pearl expert has caught them in all the spots & he has about 16 , if I remember correctly ;)Quote:

When I started this thread (Boroyob recomended me to do a thread of my own for the pearl) last year it was ment for people who wanted to show their pearls and of course there are many more out there who have cought pearls but they might not want to share it. As for your questions regarding the pearl......
1-- The big deal about the pearl is that it's quite elusive. Some folk have used over 100+ nets and still not found it.
2-- What is it for ? Like anything else we win on the farm, it's there to display... And you should display it with pride😄
3-- What does it do ? Absoutely, utterly nothing. It just sits there looking pretty 😜
4-- Is there a special reward ? Yes there certainly is...... It's the pearl itself 😄
I got my pearl early on in the game and had no idea what it was and was dissapointed seeing a weird thing when I wanted a land deed lol, at least now there is a beach where it looks good as before it looked stupid in my farm as who has pearls on a farm? so it goes with the beach :cool:

As recommended on one of these threads, I filled all 12 fishing spots with mystery nets. It was a bit painful to open each one only to see mostly items I already have from so many tries (80 diamonds +!). The twelfth net had the little stinker.
Wow, was I fixated on that. Glad to have it out of my system,lol ! It will be happily displayed on my beachfront property:) I wish I could find the specific thread and thank the people who helped. Whoever you are, thanks again!
p.s. I called it a stinker, but it looks so gorgeous on my beach;)
So much for following a formula! Hard to believe it's so random when I waited so long and now have not one but a second pearl. Also, I decided to not repeat what I did before. I just threw 4 more mystery nets "out there" and voila.. Here comes another pearl. Go figure. Just saying to all wanting at least one.... don't give up!

There is hope for those not willing to commit a stack of diamonds worth of nets. Both my FarmWife and I got our Pearls with single nets, after bitter disappointments with the multi-net strategy.
Some swear by the all-net strategy; others swear at it.
The multi-net strategy has worked for me. I now own 3 pearls. 3 out of the 4 times I tried putting out 12 nets at once, I got a pearl.
I don't recommend this until you've reached the point where you don't have anything better to do with your diamonds. If you still need to expand production queues, save your diamonds for that.
But if you're done with that, mystery nets are fun. You can get lures, vouchers, diamonds, BEM, and other decorations.
Just seen a farm with 27 pearls. Still waiting for my first.

After trying mystery net after mystery net in the spots that seem to be most recommended (by the s♥♥♥♥, waterfall, and shipwreck), I decided to go all out and put a mystery net in every fishing spot.
No luck.
I swore off mystery nets for a while, but am back to trying again. Really want that pearl!
I don't play slots, so have no idea which is the better strategy: put a coin in every machine or keep putting coin after coin into one machine in hopes of hitting the jackpot. No matter what, the house always wins. :p
Ps - I can't even say fishing s♥♥♥♥? Must refer to the shed-like building in the fishing area?

I've started to like mystery nets, just for what they bring in without pearls. Often the value of the haul from the nets is higher than 5 diamonds. That helps lower the frustration level, for me. I hope this helps:)

Funny last sentence, since I got my pearls both ways,lol. Never fear! I got most of my diamonds in game, then splurged on the last few by buying when I just couldn't wait any longer! After a break from mystery nets my FarmWife and I tried one each. She fished the shipwreck while I tried the blue hole behind the island. I got a nice netful of fish, tools and decor. She got fish, a barrel, a blue ticket, and The Pearl.

After 3-4 months of dropping 1-2 mysterious nets at the shipwreck and waterfall not getting it done. I dropped 4x12 in the last 2 weeks and still couldn't get this pearl. Omg am so not happy. I still have enough free diamonds to go 1 more full round since these new decos are so rediculously expensive. @&$!&$&
I've used about 120 diamonds trying to get a pearl now. I only have six fishing spots so whenever I have 30 diamonds I make six nets and do them all together, done this five times with no luck but I'm going to continue trying, the pearl is so pretty!
Any one got a pearl lately? I have been setting mystery nets maybe 1 every other day and still no luck... have done the recommendations - tried wafer fall and putting out all mystery nets. Now I am trying the ship wreck again.

I have been after the elusive white pearl for a long time, and after multiple attempts I placed a few mystery nets and the net placed in spot 2, between the cabin and the waterfall, finally produced the pearl! I had read that the best place was the waterfall, but I tried that 10-20 times without success, and tried placing them in every spot at once, with no results. My guess is it's like gambling.... Completely random.
I was admiring the pearl of newbie neighbor (level in the low 30's) the other day. He said he won it on the wheel! Not fair lol! I have never seen a pearl on the wheel. He had no idea it was so rare.
In the two years I have been playing this game, I have never seen the pearl on the wheel. Has anyone else out there seen it on the wheel? It would certainly be worth spending diamonds on extra spins.Quote:
